3、otemany1793,JaneAustenbegantowriteElinorandMarianne,anovellaterreworkedintoSenseandyearslater,shewrotefirstImpressions,whichwasanearlyversionofhermasterpiecePrideand1797,shewroteSusan,lateritbecomeNorthangerAbbey.In1811,shewroteMansfieldwroteEmmain1814andPersuasionin1816.Clarity,economy,skillful,use
4、ofdialogueandtightplottingarethemainfeaturesofJaneAustensisalwaysaneat,roundandrathersatisfyingcompletenesstoherplots.Besides,sheispossessedofaneathumorandasatiricaltouch.Althoughthemosturgentpreoccupationofherbright,youngheroinesiscourtshipandfinallymarriage,Austenherselfnevermarried.VirginiaWoolfc
5、alledAustenthemostperfectartistamongwomen.PLOTOPrideandPrejudicehasbeenconsideredthemostimportantandfamousnovelamongallherworks.ThenarrativebeginwithMrBingley,awealthy,charmingandsocialyoungmanmovingintoNetherfieldhouseintheneighborhoodoftheBennetfamilywhichhasfivemarriageabledaughters.Thefirstscene
