1、第 1 页 共 5 页一、基数词一、基数词 下面把 100 以内的基数词分为四类。 1 1、第一类：第一类： one 一 two 二 three 三 four 四 five 五 six 六 seven 七 eight 八 nine 九 ten 十 eleven 十一 twelve 十二 这一类共计十二个单词，在结构上与其他的基数词相比较是特殊的，就象不规则的动词一样，要求逐 个的硬背下来，这对学好其他的基数词和序数词都是及其重要的。 2 2、第二类：、第二类： thirteen 十三 fourteen 十四 fifteen 十五 sixteen 十六 seventeen 十七 eighteen
2、 十八 nineteen 十九 这一类基数词共有七个。它们在结构上有两个特点：一是在发音方面都有两个重音；二是在拼法上都 有后缀teen。除了 thirteen 和 fifteen 之外，都是纯粹地在另一个基数词的后面加上后缀teen。 但要注意 eighteen 的拼法，eight 本身有 t 字母，因此只加een。3 3、第三类：、第三类： twenty 二十 thirty 三十 forty 四十 fifty 五十 sixty 六十 seventy 七十 eighty 八十 ninety 九十 这类基数词共有八个。都是十位的整数，均以后缀ty 结尾。其中 sixty、seventy、eig
3、hty、ninety 基本上是在相应的基数词后面加上后缀ty。但要注意 eighty 的拼法，eight 本身有 t 字母，因此只 加y。 4 4、第四类、第四类： 这一类和很简单，可以看成是一种合成词。其结构方式是：用十位整数加上个位整数，其间用连字符 号“”连接，表示“几十几”。这类基数词的变化都是规则的。如： twenty-one 二十一 forty-six 四十六 seventy-eight 七十八 ninety-five 九十五 二、序数词二、序数词 下面把 199 的序数词也分为四个类。 1 1、第一类第一类 first (1st) 第一 second (2nd) 第二 third

6、十 sixtieth (60th) 第六十 seventieth (70th) 第七十 eightieth (80th) 第八十 ninetieth (90th) 第九十 这一类全是十位整数的序数词，共八个。它们的构成方法是：先将相应的十位整数的基数词词尾ty 中的 y 改成 i，然后在加上后缀eth。4 4、第四类：、第四类： thirty-first (31th) 第三十一 sixty-second (62nd) 第六十二 eighty-seventh (87th) 第八十七 ninety-eighth (98th) 第九十八 这类表示“第几十几”的序数词，跟表示“几十几”的基数词一样简单
7、。在构成方法上均由基数词 “几十几”变化而来，十位数不变，仅把个位上的基数词变成序数词就行了。基数词及序数词重要用法基数词及序数词重要用法1.1. 基数词的用法基数词的用法 基数词用于表示事物的数量，在表示基数词时，要特别注意 hundred, thousand, million, billion 等几个词的用法：若其前用了基数词，则不论其面是否有 of，都必须用单数形式(此时若带 of 则通常表示特定范围中的一部分)；若泛指数百、数千、数百万等，则用 hundreds of, thousands of, millions of 等这样的结构。如：Two hundred of the stud
8、ents are needed to plant trees this morning. 今天中午需要 200 个学生去植树。Hundreds of people attended the famous directors farewell concert. 好几百人出席了这位著名指挥家的告别音乐会。Thousands upon thousands of English words come from foreign tongues. 成千上万英语单词来自外来语。 2.2. 基数词的复数用法基数词的复数用法 逢整“十”的基数词的复数形式可用于表示某人的大约年岁和世纪中的年代。如： The wa
9、r broke out in the nineties. 这次战争爆发于 90 年代。Karl Mark began to learn the Russian language in his fiftieth. 马克思五十多岁开始学俄语。 3.3. 序数词的用法序数词的用法 序数词用于表示事物的顺序，一般由与之相应的基数词加 th 构成(但有特殊形式需特别记忆)；序 数词主要用作定语，前面一般要加定冠词(或物主代词)。如： Their second son is a doctor. 他们的二儿子是个博士。第 3 页 共 5 页The hundredth cave that George has
