15、，乐得嘲笑呢！再说，有些家里从前是被苏家用嘲笑的刀锋欺侮过的，这次得到机会，怕不兴高采烈的劈回来？苏家人要经得住这样的考验，才叫宠辱不惊。苏小横迈进内殿时，却不得不遗憾的想：“七王爷为什么没有及时出手呢？”派明远进京时，本已经说好的，尽快叫七王爷修书给唐太守，好让太守在明秀婚事上端正表明态度，力挺苏家。太守帮苏家撑脸面，其他人也就不敢狠踩了。据苏小横的推算，最快在进京的第一天，明远应该可以说动七王爷修书了。火速寄回，年前的时间还宽裕得很。太守接到七王爷的修书，怎敢不从？是一定立即有反应的！可他等啊，等啊，等啊太守也没有动静。出了什么事？直到大年二十九，苏小横才接到京中的耳目递来的消息：其实，七王爷还没到京城呢，京里就秘密出道人马，将七王爷截住，接了回去，从此音信全无。明远还留在京城，等待机会。苏小横心里像压了铅块似的。他也算手眼通天，七王爷刚离京往锦,
