(1) happen to sb./sth.某人/某物发生什么事 If anything happens to the machine, let me know.(2) happen to do sth. 碰巧做某事 I happened to be out when you called. 3. a number of =some 许多, 后接可数名词复数,构成主语时谓语动词用复数。the number o
