In 1973 Tony Orlando and Dawn cut their number one song of that year and their all-time classic: “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree.” Folklore has it that the inspiration for the 1973 song came from a true incident that occurred o
5、n a bus bound for Miami, Florida. It seems that one of the passengers had just been released from prison and he was bound for home.
