IntroductionThe secret garden was written by France Hodgon Burnett, a famous novelist, fairytale writer and playwright in American during nineteen century and twenty century. The book was the most popular and successful works in her novels. It was published in 1911 and made i

2、n to a film for there times. This made us attracted by the writer. It told us a secret about the garden: Mary and Cerlin were exclusive and negative, but when they met Dickon a boy seemed magical they became respectful and positive, and enjoyed the secret in the garden. At last they had a fantasy en

3、ding that made us feel happy.II. The StoryMary was a girl who was very not beautiful, but very selfish, disagreeable, bed tempered, and her parents never cared about her. She was alone after the terrible disease killed all the people in her family, then she was sent to an English family who had know

4、n her parents. There is no doubt that even though she did not miss her parents, she lived not very well. She treated others coldly, one day she was told to be sent to live with her uncle in Yorkshire, the north of the England. Its no wonder that she was bored and cross for she never care more about

5、others except herself.When she was arrived in north, Mr. Cravens housekeeper took her to the house, from the housekeepers words Mary knew that her uncle lived in a big house, a long way from anywhere. There were nearly a hundred rooms but most of them were shut and locked. There were a big park roun

6、d the house and all kinds of gardens, and her uncle lived unhappily even though he had been always rich for his wife dead from the falling branches. After that he never spent time on anyone. At the matter of fact, the girl didnt care these either. So she treated the servant angrily, but the servant

7、treated her friendly. She told Mary about the moor, and her family, especially her brother, which attracted the little girl. She went downstairs and wand through the great empty garden. Things changed from then.She met Weatherstaff, the gardener, and the man told her that the robin wanted to be frie

8、nds with her. This really excited the girl, and she never felt so happy. For this reason Mary spent almost all her time in the next few days in the garden, and she wondered more 2about the secret garden. Leading by the robin finally she found the garden and saw the loveliest, the most exciting place

9、 she had ever seen. And at that moment she didnt feel lonely anymore. She cant help gardening and she spent nearly a week working in the secret garden, which also made her fulfilled. Then she met Dickon, a boy who loved animal very much. They kept the secret together, and planed to work in the garde

10、n to make it beautiful.From the beginning when she first came here, she heard crying and that happened again and again. One middle night she fellow the crying sound, up and down stairs, at last she found the right room and saw the boy named Colin, and she knew that the boy was Mr. Cravens son, her b

11、rother, but he seemed ill and strange for his bad thought about himself. Whatever Mary liked the boy and she told him her life in India, and she also told him about the secret garden forgetting to careful, so they promised to keep these secret together. At first the boy was afraid that he will had a

12、 crooked back like his father and she was selfish asking Mary to him only and at the same time he was angry with Dickon , which also made the girl had no ideal, when she cant bear the boys crying, she came to him to stop him. After looking at his back the angry little girl told him his back was stra

13、ight, actually the boy believed her. He was no longer afraid. That is to see the Colin also changed from then.As soon as the boy went to the garden, he loved there, and the thing around him made him feel he was different. Later they were noticed by the garden either, and his word irritated the boy.

14、Then at the help of Dicks magic he can walk! After that time they always went there together, and all of them were healthier than before. While the secret garden was retuning to life, and Archibald Craven was wandering lonely around the most beautiful place in Europe. One day as he looked at a flowe

15、r, he realized how beautiful something living could be. As the weekend passed, he even began to think a little about his son. When he came back and came to the secret garden, Cn run straight into the mans arm just like a dream. There is no doubt that the garden flourishing and it was not a secret an

16、y more, and they lived a happy life.III. My View on the BookI feel happy when I reading the happy reading, this is what I longing to see. Think deeply from the regaining I learnt a lot. Firstly, treat others friendly no matter which position you are in, the kindly characters not only can give others a good impression, but 3also make you feel happy about yourself. Do not be selfish and try to communicate with others well and think things stand no a supporters situation. In this way
