1、Module 2 My New TeachersThe Fourth Period Grammar Teacher: 冉梦莎 class: 高一（1）班The general idea of this period In this period, we are going to introduce the v-ing form as object. Teaching Aims1. Learn the v-ing form and master its usage as an object.2.Some of the verbs can only be followed by v-ing as
2、an object,not infinitive: admit, avoid, advise, allow, appreciate, consider(考虑), delay, enjoy, escape, fancy, finish, forbid, imagine, keep, mind, permit, practise, risk, suggest3. Some verb phrases can be followed by v-ing as object:feel like, give up, cant help, be/get used to, keep on, insist on,
3、 look forward to, put off, stick to, object to, be worth, be fond of, be good at, lead to, pay attention to 4. Some verbs can not only be followed v-ing form as object, but also can be followed to ,bu t the meaning is different.remember doing sth. 记得曾经做过某事 remember to do sth. 记住做某事forget doing sth.
4、忘记曾经做过某事 forget to do sth. 忘记去做某事stop doing sth. 停止做某事stop to do sth. 停下来去做某事 try doing sth. 试着做某事（看行不行）try to do sth. 尽力做某事 regret doing sth. 对某事感到抱歉regret to do sth. 后悔做过某事mean to do sth. 打算做某事mean doing sth. 意味着 go on to do sth. 继续做另外一件事go on doing sth. 继续做同意一件事cant help to do sth. 不能帮助做某事cant he

9、-ing 构成的，在句中作主语、表语、宾语、定语，本单元中动名词主要作宾语。只能接-ing 形式作宾语的动词或者动词短语有：考虑建议盼原谅（consider, suggestion/advise, look forward to,pardon/excuse)承认推迟没得想 （admit, miss,delay/put off, fancy)避免错过继续练 （ avoid, miss, keep/keep on, practice)否认完成能欣赏 （deny, finish,enjoy/appreciate)不禁介意准逃跑 （cant help, mind, admit/allow, escap

I am looking forward to seeing you. 我盼着再见到你。The boy refused to admit stealing my money. 这个男孩拒绝承认偷了 我的钱。I really enjoyed working on the farm. 我真的喜欢在农场干活。 The boy is considering going abroad. Do you mind opening the window? He denied taking drugs. 法制渗透点： 根据中华人民共和国未成
11、年人保护法第十条规定，父母或 其他监护人应当以健康的思想品行和适当的方法教育未成年人，引导未成年人进行有益身心健康的活动，预防和制止为成年人 吸烟、酗酒、流浪以及聚赌、吸毒、卖淫。Step3 Activity 2 Ask the students to finish this part individually and then check the answers. Ss: - No, Im not. But I keep doing my housework.注意: 有些动词后既能结 v-ing 形式，也能接不remember to do sth. 记住去做某事（还没做）remember doing

I remember seeing you somewhere.Remember to recite English words.forget doing sth 忘记曾经做过某事forget to do sth 忘记去做某事E.g Dont forget to turn off the lights before you leave the classroom.I shall never forget hearing her singing that song. 我将不会忘记听她唱那支歌的情景。regret doing 对于感到遗憾/后悔reg

He never paid me back. 我很后悔借给他那么多钱。他从来没有还过我。I regret to tell you that you failed the test.我遗憾的告诉你你没有通过考试。try doing 试着做某事（看行不行）try to do sth 尽力做某事 E.g. Why not try doing it some other way? 何不用其他办法试一试？Try to study as you can ,and you will suc

That will mean waiting another hour. 那意味着还要等一个小 时。What do you mean to do with it? 你打算把它怎么处理？stop doing 停止做某事(同一件事）stop to do sth. 停下来去做某事（另外一件事） E.g. Please stop talking loudly. 请不要大声说话。Lets stop to have a rest. 我们停下来休息一下。go on to do sth. 继续做另一件事情go on doing sth. 继续做同一件事Cant help to do sth. 不能帮助做某事Cant help doing sth.禁不住做某事Step 5.
