1、写作讲座,Tracy Feng,本讲座主要内容,写作概述 总体评分原则（global scoring） 具体评分标准 遣词造句,大学英语课程教学要求(试行)对书面表达能力提出的要求,一般要求：能完成一般性写作任务，能描述个人经历、观感、情感和发生的事件等。能写常见的应用文，能就一般性话题或提纲在半小时内写出120词的短文，内容基本完整，用词恰当，语句连贯。能掌握基本的写作技能。 较高要求：能就一般性的主题基本表达个人观点，能写专业论文的英文摘要，能撰写所学专业的英语小论文。能描述各种图表，能在半小时内写出160词的短文，内容完整，条理清楚，文理通顺。 更高要求：能就一般性主题比较自如地表达个人
2、的观点，做到文章结构清晰、内容丰富、逻辑性强。能用英语撰写所学专业的简短的报告和论文。能在半小时内写出200词的说明文或议论文，内容完整，文理通顺，思想表达清楚。,具体作文考试命题形式,（一） 提纲作文,这类题型是四级作文考试到目前为止最常见的。它给出作文的英文题目以及较为详细的提纲，提纲有时是英文的，但大多数时候是用中文给出的。每段的提纲规定了各段的主旨，要求考生围绕这个中心制定主题句，再顺着主题句展开段落，最后用一句总结句回应主题。 例如下面的考题实例： 2000年6月四级作文真题 Directions: For this part, you are allowed thirty minu

4、mposition）,图表作文是四级作文考试常考题型之一，也是考生觉得较难对付的作文形式。图表作文一般在题目中给出一个或几个统计表格、柱状图或饼状结构图等，通常还给出作文的标题和一些提示，一般要写成论说文，要求考生： 用文字描述图表，客观解释图表中所传递的信息并找出某种规律或趋势； 就图表中所反映出的某种趋势或问题分析其原因或后果。 例如下面的考题实例： 2002年6月四级作文真题 Directions: For this part, you are allowed thirty minutes to write a composition on the topic Student Use o

6、）,题目中给定一个情景，要求考生在这个范围内充分发挥想象力，精心构思出一篇符合情景要求、意思连贯的短文。这类作文限定条件比较少，考生自由发挥程度较大。通常是采用书信形式，因此要求考生掌握书信的基本写作格式。 例如下面的考题实例： 2005年1月四级作文真题 Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a campaign speech in support of your election to the post of chairman of the student union. You should write

A Campaign Speech 1. 你认为自己具备是什么条件(能力，性格，爱好)可以胜任学生会主席工作， 2. 如果当选你将会为本校同学做什么？,Global scoring,1、基本正确 四、六级考生的最大问题不是写得太简单，而是 严重错误太多。基础一般的同学即使使用小学或中学 词汇和句型，只要使用得基本正确，也可以得到及格 分数。考生最常犯的语言错误有三类：语法、拼写、 标点。最常犯的语法错误包括：时态、冠词、主谓一 致、名词单复数等。,阅卷老师在语言方
8、面主要从两个方面进行评判：,阅卷老师在语言方面主要从两个方面进行评判：,2、丰富多变 基础较好的同学，要想取得四、六级写作高分，应做到丰富多变， 丰富多变体现在词汇和句型两方面。同一词语在一句话、一个段落乃至一 篇文章中最好不要重复出现，应尽量使用同、近义词替换(无法替换的关键 词除外)。例如：think可以替换为reckon, assume, argue等词。如果想 不到同、近义词，可以使用反义词进行替换。此外，句型也应富于变化， 不要拘泥于主谓宾句型，可以使用主系表、过去分词和现在分词短语作 状语、不定式短语作状语、状语从句等多种句型。四级作文如果量化成句数，只需写10句左右;六级只需12
9、句左右。全 文应以短句为主，长短句相结合。所谓短句是指10个词左右的句子，不能 全篇都是5、6个词的短句。同时，全文应有一定数量的长句，一般15-20 词即可，太长则易冗赘。有的同学以为只写长句不写短句，就能取得高 分，实际上老师看长句会觉得很累，以为你不会写短句，通常不会给高 分。如果一篇中文作文每句都30多个字，定然晦涩难懂，英文也不例外。 精炼的短句可以放在段首表示强调; 复杂的长句可以进行具体的论证、举 例或描述。,作文评分等级,14分：切题；表达思想清楚；文字通顺，连贯性较好；基本无语言错误。 11分：切题；表达思想清楚；文字连贯；但有少量语言错误。 8分：基本切题；表达思想比较清楚
