1、人教修订版 高二 Unit 3 Art and architecture Reading 教案一教学课型：阅读课 二、教材分析 1. 教学目标 （1）.使学生了解现代建筑，现代建筑设计师 以及他们的作品。通过阅读这 篇 介绍性的文章，使学生能够对现 代建筑形成初步的印象。 （2）.使学生试着分析文章结构，并能用一、两个关键词 概括每段段落大意， 对文章有个整体性地把握。 （3）.文章有用粗体印刷的词，学生在通读课 文后能了解粗体印刷的词所指代 的意思。学生能明白代词的指代作用，理顺信息的连贯 性。 （4）.通过 2008 年奥运会体育场馆 “鸟巢”的补充介绍，渗透爱国主义教育， 是德育教育的一
2、种体现。 2. 教学重点和难点（1）.“现代建筑”这一题材学生可能比较陌生，有些涉及到建筑类的术语 及 建筑师的名字等新单词 都比较难 ，所以在阅读 前应帮学生适当扫除单词 的障碍， 降低阅读 的难度。 （2）. 调动 学生学习课 文的积极性，提高学生的阅读 能力，从文章中提取重要 信息的能力，根据文章内容判断信息正误的能力。归纳 文章大意的能力。 （3）.培养学生合理使用信息，表达观点的能力，提高学生的口头表达能力， 协作能力及听力水平。二教学设计 1 总体思路 本节阅读课 分为 3 部分（读前活动，阅读 活动和读后活动）。 读前活动分为：（1）检查 学生前一天作业。作业要求学生从形状，风格
3、，材 料，家具和颜色 5 方面写一篇以“My dream house”为题 的文章。 （2）单词 小测试 （words quiz） （3）欣赏古代和现代建筑的图片 （4）根据标 题猜测文章内容 阅读 活动分为：（1）快速阅读 （2）仔细阅读 并回答问题 （3）段落大意 填空（由于学生英语基础比较薄弱，所以采用找一，两个关键词 来概括段落大意的方式，适当降低难度）。 （4）根据每一自然段的段落大意，把文章分为几部分， 并概括每一部分的内容）。 读后活动：最后一段是对 2008 年奥运会体育场馆 “鸟巢”的介绍，在这一 内容之后，笔者自己书写了一篇有关“鸟巢”的简单 介绍，并以此作为内容，设计 了
4、一次采访（interview）.使学生能利用已有信息并可适当发挥 自己的想象，与搭档 形成一问一答式地采访，锻炼 了学生文字组织 能力以及口头表达能力。教学过程 Step1. Pre-reading Activity 1: Check the homework “Design your own dream house from 5 parts (shape, style, material, furniture, colour)”. 设计说 明 结合 warming up , listening 以及 speaking中所学的词汇 ，要求学生就“My dream house”为题 写一篇文章，

8、现 代建筑和古代建筑的作品，并能让学生在视觉 上区分两者的区别。 活动 4 让学生对文章的内容进行猜测，可培养学生预测 文章大意的能力， 也能引起学生的阅读兴 趣，自然过渡到阅读 活动。 Step2. While-reading Activity 5： Fast-reading 1. When was modernism invented? 2. What are the names of two architects? 设计说 明 带着问题 快速寻找问题 的答案，培养学生的略读能力。 Activity 6： Careful-reading(1) Answer questions accord
9、ing to the text paragraph by paragraph. (2) Find one or two words to summarize the general idea of each paragraph. (3) Divide the text into several parts. (4) What do the words in bold refer to? 设计说 明 运用多种阅读 技能来阅读 文章，如快速阅读 （fast-reading）,略读（skimming）, 仔细读 （careful-reading）等多种方式。用关键词归纳 每段大意，了解细节 方面的内
10、容， 以及关注文章的文体和结构等。回答问题阶 段，笔者设计 了每一小组竞赛 的形式，答对一题得一分，此举有利于 集中学生注意力，调动 学生积极性，也能使课堂比较活跃。 （2）中对每一段的段落大意地概括，因为学生的英语基础比较薄弱，所以笔者 采用填空的形式，让学生填上关键词 。 每一段段落大意呈现如下： Paragraph 1 The history/beginning of modern architecture Paragraph 2 Paragraph 3 The materials of modern architecture and traditional architecture P

Step5. Post-reading Read the following material about the 2008 Beijing Olympic Stadium and then work with yo
13、ur partners. One acts as the reporter and the other acts as the designer of the 2008 Olympic Stadium.There are 100,000 seats in this Olympic stadium. Chinese government paid 3.5 billion Yuan for the nest. The opening and closing ceremonies(开幕和闭幕式） and the track and field events (田径比赛项 目) of the 2008
14、 Games will be held in this stadium.The stadium uses materials such as steel, concrete and plastic. The roof is made up of plastic bags full of air. And the roof is movable. When the roof is closed, the stadium looks like a box and it is waterproof(防水的）. When the roof opens, everybody in the stadium
15、 can enjoy the sunlight. The architect wants to express the idea that people are in a warm and big house.We communicate together ! ! 设计说 明 笔者写了介绍北京 2008 奥运会体育馆“鸟巢”的文章，要求学生读了之后，与同 桌编对话 ，组成一个采访。一人为记 者，另一人为体育馆的设计 者。此举有利于培养 学生捕捉信息，设计问题 及口头表达能力。以北京 2008 奥运会体育馆“鸟巢”为题 ， 也有利于渗透爱国主义教育，使德育教育在课堂中有所体现，也使课堂结尾掀起了一 个高潮。Step6.
