1、GrammarGrammar- Inversion一般来说，句子按照“主语+谓语”的顺序排列，叫做自然语序。有时为了 强调突出某一部分或保持句子的平衡结 构，从而使句子语序变为倒装语序。倒 装语序又分为完全倒装（整个谓语在前 ），或部分倒装（情态动词，助动词， 联系动词）在前，其次是主语+谓语。完全倒装1.在there, here引导的句子中，谓语是 be,exist,stand等表示状态的不及物动词。There seems something wrong with it.There lies a deep pond at the foot of the hill.Here are coats
2、 for young people.There lived a girl named Sherry.2.在语气词there, here开头的句子里， 谓语动词是come, go。There goes the bell! Here comes your husband. Here are the books.如主语是人称代词，则不用倒装。 There you go again. Here you are.3. 副词now,then,thus,引导的句子里，谓语是come,follow,begin,end,be等。Now comes your turn!Then followed a shot o
3、f gun.Thus ended the meeting.4. 在in, out, down, up, over, away, off, back作状语置于句首时，谓语动词 是come, go, rush, run等不及物动词。The door opened and in came Mr. Smith, our headmaster. Over turned the huge stone. Down drops the meat into the foxs mouth. Away rushed the prisoner.5. 在地点状语提前,谓语动词是be, stand, sit, lie等动

Along the wall stands four big book cases.6. 在直接引语全部置于句首的句子里, 引述动词和他的主语往往要倒装.“You have made great progress this term.” said our teacher. “Mr.Crossett,”said my father,”will you permit an old pupil to sha

8、oes he wish to be.4. 否定词hardly, never, seldom, little, scarcely, rarely, no, in no time, by no means置于句首时。Never before have I met him. Seldom did the boy read newspaper In no time did they catch the bus. Little do I know about what he said.注意： 1)当上述单词不提前时，则不倒装。I seldom read newspaper before.He had h
9、ardly finished his homework when the light went out. 2)当这些词作形容词修饰主语时且置句 首时, 句子不倒装。 Little work was done yesterday.5.在以否定词开头的一些固定句型中neithernor连接的两个句子都要倒装; not onlybut also连接的两个句子时， not only后面的句子要倒装。Neither has he called on her, nor will he do so. Not only shall we learn from books, but also we should
10、 learn from practice.注意:not onlybut also结构使用倒装语序时。(1)连接的必须是两个句子 (2)not only所在的从句倒装Not only does he speak English very well, but also he speaks French well. 但是当连接主语时不倒装。 Not only he but also I have kept the secret.6. only修饰的副词、介词短语或状语从句放于句首时，主句要倒装。Only then did I know I was wrong.Only in this way can
