11、as grown and someday will expand even further它的字面意思是：这个惯例一直成长甚 至某一天将会延伸到未来那么第一个with后面引出的句子，就表示这 个惯例一直延续对未来造成的影响。我们再 接着把造成的影响翻译出来就简单了。在句中出现了两个with，第一个with表示的是 一个独立主格结构，在句中作结果状语。而 第二个with则表示一个伴随状语。四、翻译比拼，你会出现他们的情况吗？在对短文的翻译中，我们分别叫了小组中的两位同学 对文章进行了精确翻译。翻译结果大致相同。但还是 有一些存在异议的地方。如第一处：是对I was still so wrappe
12、d in grief that I barely got the tree up. 的翻译。两位同学的翻译分别是：两位同学的翻译分别是： 我仍沉浸在悲痛中以致几乎不能将树扶起。 我仍沉浸在悲痛中以致我没有心情去装饰圣诞树。意思相近，但表达程度却有所不同。第二处是：对But Christmas Eve found me placing an envelope on the tree, and in the morning, it was joined by three more. 的翻译。两位同学的翻译分别是：在圣诞前夕，我在树上放了一封信，到了早上在圣诞前夕，我在树上放了一封信，到了早上，信却变信却变 成了三封成了三封。在圣诞前夕，我在树上放了一封信，到了早上在圣诞前夕，我在树上放了一封信，到了早上，信却多信却多 了三封了三封。 你们出现的翻译问题，你遇到过吗？或者你是否曾经也 困惑过呢？谢谢 谢谢 大大 家家
