In-process Checklist (General Premiums) A Injection Molding 1 Correct material, color and brands are used; 2 Where necessary, materials have been pre-heated as according to the engineering spec. 3 Machine settings (temperatures, pressures and cycle times) are within the to

2、lerance of the set-up records. 4 Regrind materials are used according to the engineering spec. or 10%max. Regrind granules are of similar size to the original granules. QC must draw plastic granules from the hopper of the injection machine for checking the regrind percentage. 5 Approved samples are

3、posted and QC in-process checking records are update. 6 Cooling water and its containers are clean. Cooling water is changed every 4 hours maximum . 7 Evaluate molded parts for warpage, shrinkage, flow mark, weld lines, voids sink-holes, dirt and embedded foreign objects. 8 All gates are trimmed pro

4、perly and flash are removed completely 9 All molded parts stored in the department are inside clean containers and the top bin is covered with a lid. 10 Overall housekeeping, cleanliness and sharp tool control is acceptable. B Roto casting 1 Plastic (PVC paste) is mixed as according to the approved

5、formulation. 2 Plastisol has been vacuumed to remove air bubbles . 3 Machines settings (temperature, cycle time, cooling time, and dispensing weight) are within the tolerance of set-up records. 4 Where necessary, annealing (oven backing) has been done at temperature and duration as according to the

6、engineering spec. 5 Approval samples are posted and QC in-process checking records are update. 6 Roto parts weight and wall thickness is within the tolerance as according to the engineering spec. 7 Evaluate roto parts for warpage, deformation clamp mark scratch mark, wall thickness, color deviation

7、dirts and embedded foreign objects. 8 All flashes are removed completely 9 All roto parts stored in the department are inside clean containers and the top bin is covered with a lid. 10 Overall housekeeping, cleanliness and sharp tool control is acceptable. C Painting 1 Correct color and brands of pa

8、ints and solvents are used 2 Only the approved solvents are used for paint dilution, mask cleaning, paint removal, product cleaning. 3 The containers used for paint and solvent storage are clean and free of rust. 4 All paint and solvent containers in the machine settings are within the tolerance as

9、according to the engineering spec. 5 For tempo printing or silk screen printing, the machine settings are within the tolerance as according to the engineering spec. 6 All painted parts are orderly line up in clean trays or containers to avoid dirts and scratches. 7 Approval samples are posted at eac

10、h workstation and QC in-process checking records are update. 8 Evaluate painted parts for color deviation, poor registration; paint smears scratch marks, dirts, and poor touch-up. 9 All painted parts stored in the department are inside clean containers and the top bin is covered with a lid. 10 Overa

E Assembly Process/ Lines. 1 The workflow is matching with the production flowchart. 2 All assembly toolings and fixtures are properly set up and suitable the desired assembly operations. 3 The machine settings (weld time, hold time pressure) of the sonic welder are within the tolerance of th

15、e set-up record. Open up welded parts to check that weld lines are fully melted. 4 For glue or solvent bonding operation, proper glue nest, dispenser or application tool has to be used. Check that the amount of glue /solvent applied is adequate. 5 Correct glue and solvents are used for bonding or cl

16、eaning operations. All glue and solvent containers are clean and correctly labeled. If the glue or solvent is prepared in house, check that the correct formulation is used. 6 Manual or pneumatic press does riveting properly with locked stopper for depth control.
