3、容容 摘摘 要要 本项目报告试图通过图式理论对新闻口译由听辨能力导致的信息缺失成因及其对策进行研究。 同声传译是世界流行的一种翻译方式,世界上大部分的国际会议采用的是同声传译的方式, 其难度较高。 随着中国市场日趋国际化, 我国与各国的贸易往来更为密切,各种国际会议应接不暇。因此社会对翻译工作的需求日趋增加,同声传译正在成为紧俏的职业。同声传译英文广播是同声传译的一部分。 研究其由于听辨能力导致的信息缺失成因以及其对策的目的就是找出广播同传时出现的缺陷,分析其成因,藉此为解决这个问题寻找方法。同声传译必然面临信息缺失的问题,然而由听辨能力导致的信息缺失属于口译的硬伤。英文广播的听辨能力导致信息

4、缺失出现的原因及对策是什么,现有文献所作回答并不明晰,原有文献大多是为了听力理解而作的分析。然而,听力理解和为口译而进行的听辨是有区别的。因此要尝试分析此问题,为减少同声传译失误提供理论指导。广播新闻英语具有即时、短小、精确、语速快,通常使用倒金字塔结构的特点,这决定了同传过程中要精力集中、不容篡改,对于导语的翻译尤其关键。要传达新闻英语的时间、地点、人物、事件、原因,即五个 W 的问题,就要了解其语言特性,捕捉语言信息,了解背景事件。 关键词:关键词:同声传译;图示理论;英语新闻;信息缺失 三三 峡峡 大大 学学 MTI 硕硕 士士 学学 位位 论论 文文 II Abstract In th

5、is project report, the author tries to study the cause and countermeasure of information loss in the English news interpretation owing to the incapability of listening and expressing viewed from schema theory. Simultaneous interpretation is a popular way of translation in the world. A majority of in

6、ternational conferences adopt simultaneous interpretation that is quite a difficult job. With the internationalization of the Chinese market, Chinas trade contacts with other countries are getting closer and closer than ever before, and international conferences are held frequently. Consequently, th

7、ere is an increasing demand for translation to which simultaneous interpretation of English news belongs, and simultaneous interpretation is thus in short supply. The purpose of seeking the information loss due to the incapability of listening and expressing and the countermeasure is to find the def

8、ects in the process of interpretation of English news, and analyze the cause to look for the methods to deal with the problem. Simultaneous interpretation definitely faces the problem of information loss. But the information loss caused by the capability of listening and expressing is a big flaw. Th

9、e cause and countermeasure of information loss because of the incapability of listening and expressing are not clear according to the existing literature. Most of the papers analyze them for the purpose of listening comprehension. However, listening comprehension is different from listening and expr

10、ession for interpretation. Therefore, its necessary to analyze this question to offer theory instruction for the reduction of misses in simultaneous interpretation. English news broadcasting is instant, concise, and precise with inverted-pyramid structure and fast speed of speech, which decides the

11、concentration of mind and no distortion in the process of simultaneous interpretation. The interpretation of news lead is especially crucial. To convey the five elements of the English news, i.e. time, place, person, incident, and cause, the interpreter needs to know the language feature, catch the
