But also friction often produces resistance, resulting in the loss of energy(James,2007). So how to reduce the frict

7、ion resistance will be a serious question. First, we need to know what surface texture has the greater resistance. When two objects touch each other, elastic force takes place, and when relative movement happens or is going to happen between these two objects, there will be a kind of force takes plac

8、e that will hinder the movement. We call this force the friction (Andrew,1997). The pressure of the object will affect the resistance (Bobbie,2003) . So the placement distance of the plastic ball will directly show us the resistance between the objects (Dawn,2009). The pressure of the object needs t

Im going to use different kinds of board for the variable surface, so we can keep the textures are the same hardness. Let the plastic ball run through them in th

Then I will know what surface texture will have the greater resistance.Materials and MethodMaterials: Im going to use a board with bevel for giving the object impetus. There will be a plastic

Then I need a ruler for measure the distance and height, a stopwatch for measure the time.Method: Step 1: Let
