1、YOU WILL NEED: Fabric: 3/8 Yard of 45” Wide Fabric Lining: 1/4 Yard of Lining Fabric Interfacing: 1/4 Yard of Sew-In Interfacing 7” Zipper 7/8 Yard of 1/8” Cord 3/4 Yard of 1” BeltingSUGGESTED FABRICS: Lightweight Woolens, Silk Doupioni, Linens, Silk Satin*SEE PAGE 3 FOR PATTERNS; CUT PIECES 1,2 bas
2、te. Note: Interfacing will not be shown in the following illustrations.2. Staystitch upper and lower edges of FRONT and BACK 1.3. Stitch side edges of FRONT and BACK together, leaving open between large s. Baste between large s. Press seam open.4. Whipstitch upper end of zipper tape together.5. Cent
3、er closed zipper, face down, over seam between large s. Baste 1/4” from zipper teeth.6. On outside, stitch along basting and across upper and lower edges, using a zipper foot. 4、ether, fold HANDLE 2 in half lengthwise. Stitch long edges together with a 1/4” seam.8. Turn right side out; press.9. Cut one piece of belting, 10 1/2” long. Trim width to 1/2”.10. Insert belting inside handle, having ends even. Baste ends.11. Pin handle to one END SECTION 3, centering ends over s a
5、nd having raw edges even; baste.12. To make piping, center cord over wrong side of each BIAS 4, having ends even. Fold bias over cord, having raw edges even. Using a zipper foot, stitch close to cord.13. Pin piping to each end section, placing ridge on piping slightly inside seam allowance and joini
6、ng ends at one small for back edge.14. To join ends, remove a few stitches from each end of bias covering; open out exposing cords. Trim ends of cord until they meet. Whipstitch cord together.15. Turn in one end of bias; lap remaining end. Recover cord with bias; baste.16. Open zipper. Pin end secti
7、ons to upper and lower edges of front and back, matching small s and clipping front and back where necessary. Stitch, using a zipper foot. Trim.17. Turn right side out; press.18. Staystitch upper and lower edges of FRONT and BACK LINING 1.15. Stitch side edges of FRONT and BACK LIN- ING together, le

Pin end section LINING 3 to upper and lower edges of FRONT and BACK LINING, matching symbols and clipping FRONT and BACK LINING where necessary. Stitch. Trim.17.
