1、上海交通大学硕士学位论文航运企业信息管理探讨姓名：黄竹筠申请学位级别：硕士专业：工商管理指导教师：王理平20050108上海交通大学 MBA 论文 航运企业信息管理探讨4航运企业信息管理探讨摘 要20世纪后半叶以来特别是 80年代以后世界的经济形势尤其是企业面临的环境发生了巨大的变化随着国际贸易的快速增长和新技术革命的迅速发展全球经济一体化的趋势日益增强经济活动的全球化使企业面临一个全球化的市场和日益激烈的竞争环境进入 90年代以后计算机通讯技术迅猛发展互联网迅速普及极大地推动了全球的信息化浪潮在这种大环境下企业传统的组织管理方法和手段难以适应当前市场越来越高的要求企业管理信息化已经成为重要的
2、竞争优势甚至是生存下去的必要条件对于肩负全球国际贸易运输重任的航运企业在全球企业信息化浪潮的推动下也迫切希望实现管理信息化而适应激烈的市场竞争但由于行业的特殊性其管理方式与岸上企业有很大的差别航运企业在信息化建设中比岸上企业要面对更多的困难首先是船舶的流动性分散性给信息管理的实施带来了很大的难度再就是航运企业船-岸之间的信息交换必须依赖昂贵的海事卫星通讯难于像岸上企业那样构建基于互联网的廉价信息网这更增加了信息系统实施的复杂性所以不少航运企业对信息化管理或敬而远之或望而却步管理信息系统的建设明显滞后于其他行业本文第一章首先介绍航运企业的特点业务流程管理模式及船-岸之间信息交换信息管理存在的主要

4、tSince the 2nd half of 20 century, especially after the 80s, the global economic situation and therefore the environment that enterprises faced have greatly changed. Along with the rapid increase of international trading and swift development of revolutionary new technologies, the tendency of global
5、 economic integration strengthens increasingly. The globalization of economic activities makes enterprises exposed to a global market and an increasingly competitive environment. After entering 90s, computers and communication technologies developed rapidly and Internet popularized promptly. These g
6、reatly promoted the global campaign of information management. Under such micro atmosphere, the traditional business organization, the managing method and means could hardly meet the more and more demanding market requirement of today. The information management of business has become an important c
7、ompetition advantage, or even a necessary survival condition of a business.For the shipping business providing important global transportation of international trading, ship owners urge to have their information management system to meet the intense market competition, driven by the global campaign
8、of business information management. However, due to the special business nature, shipping management is quite different from the management of land enterprises. Shipping companies will face more difficulties on the construction of management information system, compared with the land enterprises. Fi
9、rst of all, ships in mobility and decentralized make the implementation of information management more difficult; Secondly, unlike the land enterprises who can easily establish low cost information network based on Internet, the fact that the ship- shore information exchange within a shipping compan

Therefore, many ship owners keep away from the management information system while respect it, or withhold their steps while hoping it. The constructio
11、n of management information system in shipping business was obviously retarded compared with other businesses.In this paper, Chapter-1 will firstly introduce the particulars of shipping business, its special business process and management mode, as well as the ship-shore information exchange and the
12、 problems in information management. Chapter-2 will discuss the market environment of international shipping and competition strategy in shipping business, as well as the role of information management in implementing competition strategy for shipping companies; Chapter-3 will discuss the shipping i
13、nformation, shipping information management and the application of management information system in shipping companies; Chapter-4 will discuss the actual application of information management and its effect, through a case study on the application of MIS in an oversea shipping company.Hope that the
