13、ter, you need to perform certain tasks before upgrade, upgrade the master virtual appliance, and then create a cluster again. See “Upgrading a Cluster,” on page 11 for information.nIf you deployed a connector-only virtual appliance, connected to a service virtual appliance, first upgrade the service
14、 virtual appliance, then deploy a new connector-only virtual appliance.Internet ConnectivityYou can upgrade to VMware Identity Manager 2.4.x online or offline.By default, the VMware Identity Manager appliance uses the VMware Web site for the upgrade procedure, which requires the appliance to have In

You must also configure proxy server settings for the appliance, if applicable.If your virtual appliance does not have Internet connectivity, you can perform the upgrade offline. For an offline upgrade, you download the upgrade package and set up a local Web server to host the u
