For the existing problems of current remote meter reading systems, combined with the research results acquired in previous topics, the network of gas m
3、etering and charging system are studied deeply, and a wireless remote meter reading system based on GPRS/GSM technology has been designed in this paper.The system is mainly composed of three parts, including wireless intelligent gas meter terminals, communication network and remote control center. A
4、mong them, the wireless smart gas meter terminal realizesintelligent design, using micro-power microcontroller C8051F912 and Huawei wireless communication module MG323, to complete real-time acquisition of gas data, metering, remote transmission, terminal controlling and so on.Communications network
5、 adopts GPRS/GSM mobile communication network, which is the channel of information interaction between gas meter terminal,control center and mobile phone users.The management software of remote control center is designed based on B/S architecture, with the function of remote meter reading and billin
6、g management, data statistics and analysis, real-time monitoring and so on. In this meter reading system, meter reading module is been creatively integrated into the gas meter terminal directly, simultaneously the prepaid management mode is adopted, with data transmission scheme based on GPRS/GSM ne
7、twork technology. Ultimately, a networked and prepaid remote meter mode has beenrealized. 8、alarming and automatically closing the valve when gas leaking, SMS reminding recharge when flow deficiency and other functions.Meanwhile, the system also has some typical features, such as simple structure, low cost, wide application, energy saving and environmental protection. So theyare upgraded p
9、roducts of gas meter market, with good market valueand application prospect. Firstly, the domesticandinternational present situation of remote meter reading systems was introduced in this paper, and the adopting technical schemes and main issues of current meter reading system was analyzed.Then the
10、functional requirements of meter reading system was analyzed, and on this basis, the overall design scheme of meter reading system was proposed.Focus on the hardware design and software design of wireless intelligent gas meter terminal, the design ideas and working principle of all functional units
11、were analyzed comprehensively in this thesis. Subsequently, the software of control center was introduced in this paper, the software and hardware test platform of meter reading system were built, and the overall performance test of meter reading system completed.Finally, it made a summary of the wo
12、rk done of this paper, and it pointed out the farther study and outlook of system.
