Make sure you get your job done while youre there. 107Find an airline and rental car company you like and stick with them. The more familiar you are with the company, the less time you

You can eliminate filling out redundant information each time you check in. 109Try to stay on one of the first three floors of a hotel. Take the stairs. It saves time and is good exercise.112Jo

3、in an airline club. The financial investment is easily returned with the work that you accomplish using their club. You can knock out your e-mails, return calls, and relax in the same time it would have taken you to get your boarding pass at the counter.114Create two checklists for travel one for th

4、e office and one for home. Laminate the lists and keep one in your desk and one in your travel bag. The basic trip requirements are the same and this will help you double check that you have everything you need.115Take only carry-on bags when possible. This saves an average of an extra 20 minutes pe

5、r flight.118Laptops, presentation slides and any other tools required for meetings should be carried on the plane. No reason to stress out over the airline baggage handling efficiencies.123Get a cell phone plan that does not charge “roaming” charges. In case of emergencies let people know where your

6、e staying but its always more convenient to give them your cell number.125Get an aisle seat as close to the front of the plane as possible. The passengers in the first five rows of a full airplane are sometimes off the plane ten minutes before the back row passengers.127As soon as you get on board,

7、return as many phone calls as you can before the plane leaves the gate. 128Keep a travel folder for projects that you can accomplish while on a plane or in a taxi.129If you do not have time to socialize during the flight, invest in a good pair of headphones that have “white noise.” It eliminates alm

8、ost all the noise of the plane and most people will not disturb you. If that does not work, politely tell the talkative person next to you that you must complete your work before you land. 9、raining course on your computer during the flight. 131Keep a file on the personnel in the cities you are visiting. Its always impressive to walk in, call the receptionist by name and ask about a son or daughters soccer season. Theyll never forget you!133Always carry emergency cash enough for taxi, t

10、ips and some for “just in case.” You probably do not want to be wasting your time looking for an ATM in an unfamiliar city. 134Complete your expense documentation as the expenses occur. Do not try to reconstruct your expenses later. Maintain a tally of expenses in your organizer and throw the receip

11、ts in a pocket file. As soon as you get back home immediately submit receipts/expense report.135Where did you park your car? Write down the exact location in your organizer. Standing is not comfortable for most people and the length of most interruptions is in direct propo
