W ith the more and more in?depth researches on global environ ment change ,the management strategies for carbon sequestration in cropl and have been wi dely given attention . Current researches show that the m issing of carbon most probabl y e

5、xists i n the terrestri al ecosyste m 1- 2.Although there are many literatures focus on the carbon sequestrati on of terrestrial ecosystem in China3- 4,researches on carbon cycle in cropland are relatively few. The managementmeas? ures for carbon sequestrati on i n cropl and affect the dyna m i c ch

6、anges of soil organic carbon ( SOC) to a greater exten.t The excessi ve recla mati on and mi proper manage ment will greatly reduce the SOC amountofcropl and so as to cause the massive emissi on ofCO2. Optmi ization of agricultural management measures can not onl y i ncrease the soil carbon sequestr

7、ati on ,mi prove the soil quality and enhance the agricultural producti vity ,but also reduce the soilandwater l oss , protect the bi otope landscape , etc .Itshoul d be noticed that the potential of carbon seques? tration in the top soil is not onl y influenced by the vegetati on condition ,environ

8、 mental temperature ,the co mpositi ons of soilm i nera,l weathered l ayerdepth , soildrai nage ,the availa? bility of water and air ,etc .,but also is controll ed by the chemical compositi on of soil organic matters and their resist? ance to them icrobialdegradation 5. When potentialofcarbon seques

9、tration in top soil is calculated ,the emission of CO2 shoul d be consi dered due to consuming fossil energy in the process of fertilizer production , water diversion irri gation , agri ? culturalmachi nery work ,etc .Therefore , more and more re? search efforts shoul d be made to explore the seques

10、trati on mechanis m and potential ofSOC content in the top soi,l and to formul ate the optmi al agri cultural management measures under local conditions so as to m i prove the potenti al ofcarbonsequestration in cropl and and miti gate the m i pacts from cli ? mate change in Chi na 6. 11、e carbon storage of agro?ecosyste m is gen? erall y takenmeasures from two aspects : One is reduci ng the carbon l oss , whose mainmeasures contai n mi provi ng the en? ergy utilization rati o ,reduci ng the water and soil loss and m i ? proving the water?fertilizer utilization ratio ; and the other

12、 is in? creasing SOC conten,t whose main measures contain adjus? ting the far ming system, applying the organi c fertilizers , using the deep?root crops and i ncreasing the content ofm i cro?ag? gregates in soil7.Ami ing at above aspects ,some scholars put forward many manage ment strategies for car
