1、厦门大学硕士学位论文大学英语四、六级考试制度改革研究姓名：危捷申请学位级别：硕士专业：高等教育学指导教师：张亚群20080501内容提要大学英语四、六级考试创立于上世纪八十年代后期，是我国高校广泛实施的一项英语水平考试。二十多年来，这项考试制度的推广，促进了大学英语教学的发展，但也衍生出不少问题和弊端。全面认识大学英语四、六级考试的性质、功能与改革成效，需要作深入的专门研究。本选题对于加强高校英语学业考试管理，完善大学英语教学评价制度，具有重要的理论与现实意义。本论文围绕大学英语四、六级考试制度改革的主题，运用高等教育学和考试学理论，系统考察和分析我国大学英语四、六级考试的性质与功能、发展轨迹
2、、现实问题和改革措施。论文包括绪论、历史考察、现状分析、实证研究和政策建议五个部分。第一章介绍选题缘由及理论与现实意义。第二章概述英语四、六级考试制度的创立、发展过程，分析英语四、六级考试的理论基础及主要特点，总结其考试发展规律。第三章考察和分析英语四、六级考试实施中的问题及其成因，论述改革现状及影响。第四章通过对福建省三所高校的抽样问卷调查和访谈，从一个侧面反映英语四、六级考试的改革成效。第五章在上述研究的基础上，总结英语四、六级考试发展趋势，提出考试改革的政策建议。通过研究，本文得出以下一些基本结论：( 1 ) 大学英语四、六级考试以水平测验为目的，具有尺度相关与常模参照考试的性质。它在一
3、定程度上适应了大学英语教学考试评价的客观需要，产生了积极的教育和社会效应。( 2 ) 英语四、六级考试制度的推广与改革，受高等教育规模扩张、英语教学改革及考试功能演变的影响。新的英语四、六级考试评价标准的实施，有利于正确引导高校英语教学，实现大学英语教学的改革目标。( 3 ) 在英语四、六级考试改革的政策导向上，应树立全面的英语考试评价观，理顺英语四、六级考试与英语教学的关系，加强考试安全管理，借鉴国外的考试技术与相关经验，以推进英语四、六级考试的协调、稳步发展。关键词：大学英语教学；英语四、六级考试；改革研究A b s t r a c tC o l l e g eE n g l i s hT
