1、 Xian (Chinese: 西安), is the capital of the Shanxi province in the Peoples Republic of China . As one of the oldest cities in Chinese history, Xian is one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China because it has been the capital of 13 dynasties ,including the Zhou, Qin, Han, the Sui, and Tang dynas
2、ties. Xian is the eastern end of the Silk Road . The city has more than 3,100 years of history, and was known as Changan (traditional Chinese: 长安). Long holidays are usual during Spring Festival, Labor Holiday (1-7 May), and National Holiday (1-7 October). The number of travellers is often greater d

The former is next to a large square with the largest fountain in Asia which projects water high into the air, rising and falling in time to music during one of the daily performances (usually at noon and soon after sunset). Ranked among the Hundred Famous Gardens in China, it also has the status as a National Cultural Relic Protection Unit and a National Key Scenic Area.
