2、阅读能力的主要因素。 多年的教学实践表明，一个人的英语词汇量低于 6000 个时，用英语进行读写交流便会遇到严重困难。那么如何 使学生高质量地达到词汇教学的目的呢？ 一、了解英语词汇的文化内涵 如(1)blue 可用来表示泪丧。Tom looks blue, and Jack is in a blue mood, too(汤姆情绪低落，杰克情绪也不 好) (2)red 可表愤怒。He was red with anger (他十分生气) (3)green 可表缺乏经验。He is still green at this work.(他对这项工作不熟悉) (4)white days 表吉祥日，a

8、榜) 六、利用构词法扩大词汇量 英语构词通常有派生，合成和转化三种方式。如词缀对词根的意义加以修饰。 例：un 相反的，unselfish 无私的，unexpected 意外的。Trans 表“迁移”trans late 翻译 transport 运输。Fore“预先”foretell 预言；ize 使化 specialize 使专业化；able 可的 countable 可数的。 再如：action photocopier actress act actor copyist copy copybook active activity copyrightinactive 七、利用辨析法学习词汇

11、, shooting, horse-riding, wrestling, basketball 等。具有共性的词汇还可归纳出：Olympic Games, the Olympics, Summer Olympics, winter Olympics 等。 2、同音归纳：如：a. know; no b. way, weigh c. flower, flour 3、词语搭配：如：in the way, by the way, lose ones way, feel ones way, push ones way, fight ones way. 教师要鼓励学生课后进行大量的阅读，在阅读中体会和运用词汇。只要我们勤于探索，勇于实践，词汇教学定会 结出丰硕之果。
