The purpose Oral English, also known as spoken English, which is used when people are speaking to

5、one another. Part of spoken English learning is in understanding how English words are formed. Watch the mouths and tongues of native English speakers carefully. Observe how much the mouth is opened to say certain words and imitate what you see.Language is the most important means of human communica

6、tion, and communication is the most important function of language. Therefore, the ultimate goal of language learning is to equip the learners with the ability to use the language for communication with confidence. So here the conclusion is that the oral English comes first when we talk about Englis

7、h learning. More and more people are recognizing the importance of English learning. Most Students in China are learning English as a second language, but they find it is difficult to understand correctly, which result in the poor communicative abilities of most students. It is important that a pers

8、on who is learning to speak English practice using the language. The more a student practices her English communicative skills, the more fluent and correct a person speaks English.This paper explores the disadvantages and disadvantages of oral English teaching(OET) in universities. This paper will f

9、irst analyzes the present situation of OET in China, it includes the good points and strengths of OET in China. But as a second language in China, though English are widely taught in almost every school, there are also many and problems in OET. As for problems and disadvantages, this author puts for

10、ward some suggestions and solutions on how to learn oral English. This paper also has a general analysis about it. After finding the problems, we can solve those problems effective. 2.Significance What is language for? It seems that most people think its for practicing grammar rules and learning lis

11、ts of words. Language is for the exchange of ideas, for communication and understanding. The role of teacher is to help the learner master the foreign language in the shortest possible time so that he is able to have successful communications with others in the target language. English has been divi

12、ded into 4 main points which are listening、speaking、reading and writing as well. Oral English should be followed fluency and appropriateness. So among them, oral English seems to be on the top of all. With the development of modern society and Chinas entry into WTO, each country in the world is conn

13、ected like an earth village. helping undergraduates to improve their oral English is becoming a big challenge for teachers and students in China. However, students in universities often think it difficult to express themselves correctly and fluently, and students have few chances to practice their o

14、ral. Effect methods is needed.“Oral English teaching plays a more and more important role in English class, but the situations of oral English teaching are not satisfactory”(Wangmeijun,2005)Many universities in China have oral English classes, and oral English has an effect on your life or even job

15、hunting. Graduates may find that when you are in a job interview, the first requirement that the company put forward was fluent oral English. With effective and easy methods, It is not difficult to change the present problems of OET in universities. All in all, the study of advantages and disadvantages of OET in universities has its practical meanings, not only for students themselves, but for the development of our country. The author also provides some useful methods that you can take advantage of.
