1、ShoulderDuring one summer vacation, I took a trip to Shanxi prounvince which amounts of places of historic interest located in with my families. One day, we went to climb Huashan moutain which is famous for its dangerously steep terrain.As the most steep one among the five sacred mountains of china,
2、 Huashan mountain attracts a good number of tourists to visit. As soon as we arrived at the foot of Huashan mountain, we felt the people stream just like mountain and sea passing over us. However, what is actually made us feel stressed and nervous wasnt the surgent people stream but the dangerously
3、steep hill.We took the cable car to half way up a moutain at first. In the cable car, we rised slowly along the steep mountain. Looking out of the window, the cliffs and bottomless chasm made me feel scared to freeze. When we arrived at the half way of mountain where elevation is about one thousand
4、meters, there appered a strait path which was too long to look its end in front of us. The path is very steep and nearly vertical, and both sides of the path is cliffs. This path was so dangerous that we had to climb up with great care.After climbing coountless steps, finally, we arrived at a small
5、plat to relax for a short time. Having experiences such a long and dangerous path, everyone was very tired, so this plat gathered many visitors seated at there for relax.When we were sitting there to have a rest, suddenly, a strange man came into my view. He was trying to climb over the railing whic
6、h was at the edge of this plat. You must know, there still were cliffs and bottomless chasm around this small plat. If this stranage man was slightly careless, he would fell down and smashed to pieces. What a dangerous behaviour!His strange and dangerous behaviour made me observed him carefully. Wha
7、t made me feel more strange was that this man wasnt a young and adventurous guy but a thin and small oldman. This oldman was in rags, and his shoes and clothes were so shabby that he had rubbed it. And his figure was so thin and small that it seemed the wind could put him down. From his appearance,
8、I was sure he had a poor family and experienced many changes in his life.But what on earth made such a weak old man do that dangerous thing? I was lost in thinking. Suddenly, a burst of singing spread. The sound of singing was old but powerful. It turned out to be that old man. He was not only singi
9、ng in a loud voice, but also performing an acrobatics. The old man stood at a rock where was very close to the cliff where he was possible to fall down to a bottomeless chasm at any time. However, he seemed not nervous about his dangerous position at all, and he still perform his program calmly. He
10、used his bony shoulder to carry the heavy shoulder pole. Whats more, he shook his shoulder to make the shoulder pole jump slightly. It seemed impossible that such a weak and old man could carry that heavy shoulder pole and even made it jump around his shoulder. And at the same time, he still could s
11、ing in a loud voice. The mountains had ehcoed with the sound of powerful and strong singing. The sound of this oldman also resounded in everyone s heart, and we had been shocked deeply.After we reached the top of the Huashan mountain, we bagan to go back. Beside the path to the foot of mountain, we
12、met the old man again. Actually, during the previous way, I might have heared the powerful singing of the old man for several time. Now, he was carring his shoulder pole and hurried down the mountain. His action was more tired and slow than that when we met him at firt time. His shoulder was still s
13、o bonny and weak, but it seemed not as powerful as previous him. Maybe having performed too long, the old man couldnt afford finally.When we stood in a line to accept ticket examination, I met the old man for the last time. I saw his wrinkled hands faltering strech out a certificate. After he showed
14、 this certificate, he went out of the gate of scenic region without ticket examination. I couldnt know what the certificate is about, but I could guess that the old man must perform to make a living on the Huashan mountain for long term.Despite his bonny figure and old face, the man actually had an inconvincible streghth. His shoulder not only carried the heavy shoulder pole, but also supported his family! His powful voice, his amazing behaviour, his shoulder which seemed to be bonny but strong actually all about the old man , made me really look up to him!
