1、 八年级英语知识归纳1、show sb.around =take sb. around(show sb. around 带某人四处参观take sb. around 带某人到处转转二者没有太大的区别，具体在于前者强调带某人四处参观，有一定目的性，后者则比较随意，就是随便看看。2、try to do sth 和 try doing sth 的用法to do 表示“努力做某事”；Try doing 表示“尝试做某事”。I usually go there by train. -Why not _ by boat for a change? 2、o C.to try and go D.try going3. think about、think of 与 think over 的用法think of 考虑；关心；想起 think about 考虑；思考 think over 仔细考虑 think 考虑、认为think about 和 think of 这两个短语表示“考虑”、 “对有某种看法”时，可以互换。例如： Dont think of（about）me any more不要再考虑我。 Theyre thinking about（of）buying a new car他们正在考虑买一辆新车。 think of 表示下列意义时，一般不
3、和 think about 换用： 想要；打算。例如： Helen，are you thinking of marrying Tom？海伦，你打算和汤姆结婚吗？ 想出；想到。例如： Who thought of the idea？谁想出的这个主意？ 关心；想着。例如： Lei Feng was always thinking of others雷锋总是为别人着想。 想起；记得。例如： I cant think of his name我想不起他的名字。 think about 表示“回想过去的事情”、 “考虑某计划是否切实可行”时，一般不和 think of 换用。I often thought
4、 about what you said我常常想到你说过的话。 Ill think about your suggestion，and give you an answer tomorrow我要考虑一下你的建议， 明天给你答复。 think over 意为“仔细考虑”。例如： Think over，and youll find a way仔细考虑一下，你就会有办法的。 We need several days to think this matter over我们需要几天的时间把这件事情仔细考虑一下。4be able to 和 can 的区别be able to 是指主观上有这种能力 can
5、是指客观上你能这么做，或被允许这么做 ）can could 表示能力；可能 (过去时用 could), 只用于现在式和过去式(could)。be able to 可以用于各种时态。 They will be able to tell you the news soon. 他很快就能告诉你消息了。 2）只用 be able to a. 位于助动词后。 b. 情态动词后。 c. 表示过去某时刻动作时。 d. 用于句首表示条件。 e. 表示成功地做了某事时，只能用 was/were able to， 不能用 could。 He was able to flee Europe before the w
6、ar broke out. = He managed to flee Europe before the war broke out. 注意：could 不表示时态 1）提出委婉的请求， （注意在回答中不可用 could） 。 - Could I have the television on? - Yes, you can. / No, you cant. 2）在否定，疑问句中表示推测或怀疑。 He couldnt be a bad man. 他不大可能是坏人。 can 用于表示“能力”时是指现在的能力，过去或将来的能力通常用 was/were able to 或 will/shall be
7、able to 表示。 eg. She was able to go to school yesterday. Soon she will be able to swim a quarter of a mile. Can 的过去式形式 could 也可用于表示泛指过去的能力。如： I could read when I was four. 但不能用于表示特定的某一过去能力，如不能说： *He could swim halfway before he got tired. He was able to swim halfway before he got tired. 上述这种用法的区别不存在于
8、否定句中。在否定句中，couldnt 与 was/were not able to 可 以互换使用。 eg. I couldnt see him again before he left. I wasnt able to see him again before he left. 另外，要说一个阶段延续至今的能力，可用 have/has been able to 表示。 eg. John has been able to swim for many years. 注意的一点是：can 也可以用于表示“许可” 。它可以表示现在许可或将来许可，过去许可 用 could 表示，此时一律不能用 be
9、able to 的某种形式替换。5、opinionn.意见，主张；评价；鉴定复数：opinionsHis opinion is very well formed.他的见解很有条理Some of my opinions about life一些关于我对生活的看法6、something 没有复数 7、比如，一群孩子在下午 3 点在操场上玩耍，一直玩到 5 点结束，回家吃晚饭。 你在 3 点 25 路过，站在操场旁看孩子们玩乐 5 分钟，你就离开了，你就说：I saw some children playing on the playground. 如果你是其中某孩子的父母，你领孩子来了，出于安全，你从头到尾（from 3pm-5pm)监视孩子们玩耍，以防意外，直至领着孩子回家，你就说：I saw the children play on the play ground. see sb doing sth: 只看见整个动作过程中的一部分。例 1，你只看了 5 分钟，你没有看到孩子们何时开始玩耍，也没有看到他们何时结束玩耍的。 see sb do sth: 看见整个动作过程，即从头到尾。
