1、名词的数：一、一、 可数名词规则的复数形式：可数名词规则的复数形式：1. 直接在名词后加-sstudentstudents 学生, horsehorses 马, handhands 手, this elephant 这头大象these elephants 这些大象, that house 那座房子those houses 那些房子2. 以-s, -x, -ch, -sh 结尾的名词后加-esbusbuses 公共汽车； boxboxes 箱子，盒子 ；watchwatches 手表；matchmatches 比赛，火柴；peachpeaches 桃子；brushbrushes 刷子；dishd
2、ishes 碟子注意：stomachstomachs 胃以-th 结尾的词，直接在词尾加-smouthmouths 嘴；monthmonths 月份3. 以字母 y 结尾的名词复数分为以下两种情况：（1）以“辅音字母+y”结尾的名词，先 y 改为 i，再加-esbabybabies 婴儿，familyfamilies 家庭，countrycountries国家，citycities 城市（2） “元音字母+y”结尾的名词，复数形式直接在词尾加-sboyboys 男孩；daydays 日子，一天；monkeymonkeys 猴子4.以-f 或-fe 结尾的名词，先把-f 或-fe 改为 v，再加

5、.单复数同形，即某个可数名词的单数形式和复数形式相同。这时，谓语动词的形式要看主语表示的是单数还是复数。单数形式复数形式说明sheep 羊sheep不管说一只羊、几只羊还是一群羊，英语都 用 sheepdeer 鹿deer不管说一只鹿、几只鹿还是一群鹿，英语都 用 deerfish 鱼fish同一种类的鱼，不管多少条都用 fish；鱼肉总 是用 fishChinese 中国人Chinese以 ese 结尾的表示某国人的名词，单、复数形 式相同注意： people 翻译为“人，人们”时，只表达复数含义，作主语时谓语用复数形式；表示一个人用“a/one person” ，例如Many people
6、 speak English. police 或者 the police 翻译为“警方，警察部门” ，通常表达复数含义。表达“一个警察”可以用 a policeman, a policewoman，例如The police are searching that house.3、可数名词和不可数名词的数量表达方式可数名词和不可数名词的数量表达方式1.可数名词的数量可以用基数词（例如 one, two, three）或者表达约数概念的词（例如 many, some, a few, a lot of, several）来修饰one book, two pens, five children, man
7、y horses, a few weeks, several pupils, some cities, a lot of monkeys2.不可数名词：英语中有许多名词是不可数的，而在汉语中却是可数的，在使用时要特别注意。以下是常见的不可数名词：advice 忠告 bread 面包 cheese 奶酪 coffee 咖啡 food 食物 fruit 水果 furniture 家具 news 新闻 ice 冰 juice 果汁 meat 肉 milk 牛奶 money 钱 salt 盐soup 汤 sugar 糖 tea 茶 water 水 weather 天气work 工作3.不可数名词没有复
8、数形式，因此不能用 a 或基数词来修饰，也不能 many, a few 来修饰，但是可以用 some,some, a a lotlot ofof（这两个词既可以修饰可数名词，也可以修饰不可数名词） ，much,much, a a littlelittle 来来修饰，修饰，例如：some bread, a lot of food, much meat, a little milk4.不可数名词要表示“一件”或者“几件”时，可以用适当的量词来表达，复数概念可以从量词上体现出来。常见的用来修饰不可数名词的量词有：a piece of, a pair of, a bottle of, a cup of, a glass of, a bowl of例如，a glass of milk, a piece of news, three pieces of paper,two glasses of milk注意：glasses（眼镜） ，shoes（鞋子） ，scissors（剪刀）等词只用复数形式，也可以用 a pair of 来修饰，例如a pair of glasses,five pairs of shoes
