1、Jiaji.kang Owen10115447AbstractThe purpose of survey is to compare the famous two laptop bands: Lenovo Ieadpad and Hp Pailon which one people prefer, and know people perception about the two bands. The research was carried out at Xian Jiao tong Liverpool University. Respondents were interviewed and

More than seventy present respondents preferred Lenovo than Hp and most of participant thought quality, price, function were top three factors influence them when they buy a laptop. These research results can be used in laptops companies workers analyze universit

3、y students laptops marketing and improve themselves sell tactics.IntroductionBack gourdIn Xian Jiao tong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), for different needs, almost students have one or more laptops and the bands of laptops are variety. Because of time and some object factors limitation, the research

4、cannot investigate too many people, this may lead some result will have a biggish error. ALL respondents are students from XJTLU University Year-1 and more than half those major is finance. This report will include four parts and about 1,200 words.AmisThe report will focus on comparing HP Pavilion a

5、nd Lenovo Idea Pad which one laptop band participants more favor and know why participants choice. Hp is a foreign band and Lenovo is a local one, and the two companies have different culture. Lenovo is a local band and Hp door may leads Lenovo have higher marketing occupancy and more people favor.M

6、ethodologySample: Because In XJTLU, students use laptops frequently and have a variety bands of laptops. Participants were chosen by randomly. The questions are answered by the students come from XJLTU Year-1. Include 19 females and 14 males. Material: The questionnaire is consisted by 23 questions.

7、 Those questions are divided into three parts. The questions in parts aims are know some general Jiaji.kang Owen10115447information from participants. The second and third parts of questions are focus on comparing the laptops bands HP and Lenovo. At last, an open ending question for respondents give

8、 suggest about the two brands how can them be improved themselves .In the questionnaire include variety question, for knowing more information from respondents, including demographic questions, multiple choice, rank order and open ending question. About 10 minute to work out the questionnaire.Proced

9、ure: This survey was conducted in March 4, 2011, in XJTLU University. In the survey process, Participants were interviewed by researchers and did allow watching questionnaires; researchers recorded the data on a form. The data were collected in several tables, and the tables will upload to Excel pro

10、gram for accounting result. Data handling: The important data will draw in graphs. 11、 1Background InformationThe par chart gives information about the Percentage of 33 persons whose laptops bands in Year-1 Xjtlu University.From the figure 1, it can be shown that the top three laptops bands students have in survey are Lenovo, Sony, Dell, all of them have 20% of total laptop bands. Hp

12、 (14%) and follow them. Strongly Mac laptops are so expensive, but still have 11% of total. Asus (9%) are following Mac. Toshiba and Asus both two are 3%.In this survey compare other bands; Lenovo as a local band has many advantages on advertisement, making consumer, this reason may lead Lenovo Jiaj
