中南民族大学硕士学位论文游动的“端”——“凤羽人”过端仪式象征研究姓名:龙胜阳申请学位级别:硕士专业:民族学指导教师:柏贵喜20100501中南民族大学硕士学位论文 I摘 要摘 要 分布于都柳江、龙江上游的水族是我国一个古老的民族水族人在民歌中常把家乡誉为“像凤凰羽毛一样美丽” 端节,水语称之为“Fei-dor” ,俗称过端,是“过端”水族在水历岁末按秩序逢“亥”日“分批轮流”而过、 “聚众而庆”的传统年节过端仪式是浓缩了水族文化意义的文本过端” 是一种祭祀仪式, 是一种人神共乐,对秋收在即的喜悦的表达仪式,形如一场富有特色的“文化展演” 、社会剧,而实质上蕴涵了丰富的文化象征意义 本文在前人研究的基础上,用田野调查与文献分析相结合的方法,主要应用象征人类学的相关理论来解释水族过端仪式的象征体系 全文除导言外, 共分为四章:第一章对过端仪式中的祭祖、游端和赛马三个仪式过程进行民族志描述,为后文对过端仪式的结构性分析作铺垫;第二章主要对人们在过端仪式前、中、后三种生活状态进行理论分析,简述过端前、后的生活状态,重点分析仪式阈限中的祭祖仪式、游端仪式、赛马仪式;第三章则主要对过端仪式象征体系所隐藏的社会结构进行分析;第四章主要分析过端仪式中符号和人们行为的象征及隐喻。
通过研究,本文认为水族端节文化中具有丰富的象征内涵,这些象征内涵反映了水族独特的观念、思维模式和社会结构从“过端”所经历的三个过程来看, “过端”是水族社会化过程的“元过程” ,是水族社会不断得到整合的一个过程 “分批分期”过端是水族社会秩序化的象征表达,被分为七个批次不同时日、不同地域而过,并相互遵循着“过端”先后和“过端”时长的社会结构序列,形成了一系列不同的文化认同和象征体系,即:七元结构在七元结构之中,每个元结构之间相互认同,具有一整套相互解释的文化象征体系与此同时,水族对过端的认同以及对“过端而不过卯” 、 “过卯而不过端”和不忌荤素的“苏宁喜”节的主次之分意在标游动的“端”——凤羽人过端仪式象征研究 II识差异的同时,形成了水族社会稳定的三元结构三元之中,又各成体系,表达了水族社会不同的文化象征和认同意在强调“荤——素”二元对立的“鱼包韭菜”和“忌荤食素” ,已然成为水族文化的公共符号与道德标准 关键词:关键词:水族;过端仪式;象征体系;社会结构 中南民族大学硕士学位论文 IIIAbstract The Shui Nationality that distributes at the upper Duliujiang and Longjiang River area is an ancient nation of China. Shui often describes his home in folk songs as “as beautiful as phoenix feathers.“ The Duan Festival, called “Fei-dor“in Shui's native language, commonly known as “Celebrating Duan“ is a traditional festival that is celebrated together by turns at the end of Shui's calendar year according to the order of “hai“ in Shui's calendar. The ceremony of “Celebrating Duan“ is a text that concentrates over the cultural significance of Shui Nationality . “Celebrating Duan“ is a ritual, a entertainment of both god and man, the expression of the joy of the coming autumn harvest, just as a distinctive form of “cultural performances“, which essentially contains rich cultural symbols significance. Based on previous studies, and the combinational analysis of both field investigation and documents, I will primarily applied the theory of symbolic anthropology to explain the symbolic system of the ceremony of Shui Nationality's “Celebrating Duan“ . In addition to this introduction text, the paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter one I make a ethnographic description of the process of sacrificial ceremony, “Celebrating Duan“ceremony and the race ,which is a bedding of the later structural analysis ; In Chapter II I make a theoretical analysis of three living conditions of people that before ,in and after the “Celebrating Duan“ceremony, among which I outline the living conditions before and after the ceremony, and focus on the analysis of sacrificial ceremony, “Celebrating Duan“ceremony and the horse race ; In the third chapter ,I mainly analysis the social structure that hide behind the symbolic system of the Celebrating Duan“ceremony ; In the fourth chapter I mainly analysis the symbols and metaphor of the symbols and people's behavior in the “Celebrating Duan“ ceremony. Through the research, it is considered that Shui Nationality's culture of Duan festival is rich in symbolic meaning, it which reflect the unique attitude, thought patterns and social structure of Shui people. Considering from the through three processes of it ,the “Celebrating Duan“ceremony is the original process of socialization of the Shui 游动的“端”——凤羽人过端仪式象征研究 IVNationality, a process in which the Shui society get continuous integration.Celebrating Duan “by turns is the symbolic expression of the order of the Shui Nationality, the social structure that divides the Duan into seven batchs of different time and regions ,according to the order and the time length of the “Duan“,creates a series of systems of cultural identity and symbol,namely:seven-tier structure. Among the seven-tier structure, each tier enjoy the recognition from others ,which has a cultural symbolic system of mutual recognition. Meanwhile, Shui Nationality's identity of the Duan and differentiateing among “Celebrating Duan but not Mao“,“Celebrating Mao but not Duan“ and the “Su Ningxi“festival that do not avoid meat and vegetarian dishes is mean to show the differences ,and meanwhile form the stability of the ternary structure of the Shui society.The three tiers each has its own system which express the different cultural symbols and identity in Shui society. “fish package leek“ and “Vegetarian“ that intend to emphasize the “meat - vegetarian“ binary opposition has become a public symbol and moral standards of Shui people's culture.
