5、 July 24, 2008 POWER SERVICE DIESEL FUEL SUPPLEMENT +CETANE BOOST Page 2 of 9 SECTION 3 - HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS: EYES: May cause eye irritation. Effects may include discomfort or pain and redness. SKIN: May be harmful if absorbed through the skin. May cause skin irritation.

6、 Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause drying or defatting of the skin. Symptoms may include pain, itching, discoloration, swelling, and blistering. INHALATION: Do not breathe vapors. Harmful or fatal if inhaled. Breathing of high vapor concentrations may cause dizziness, light-headedness, he

7、adache, nausea and loss of coordination. Continued inhalation may result in unconsciousness. The vapor or fumes from this material may cause respiratory irritation and damage auditory system. Breathing this material at elevated concentrations causes central nervous system effects. Central nervous sy

8、stem effects may include headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, weakness, loss of coordination, blurred vision, drowsiness, confusion or disorientation. At extreme exposures, central nervous system effects may include respiratory depression, tremors, or convulsions, loss of consciousness, coma or de

9、ath. INGESTION: Do not take internally. May be harmful or fatal if swallowed. If swallowed, may be aspirated and cause lung damage. This material can directly enter the lungs, if swallowed, or if subsequently vomited. Once in the lungs it is very difficult to remove and can cause severe injury or de

10、ath. TARGET ORGANS: Central nervous system, Auditory system, Blood, Eye, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Skin. SECTION 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES As a precaution, exposure to liquids, vapors, mists and fumes should be minimized. EYE CONTACT: Hold eyelids apart and flush eyes with large amounts of water for at lea

11、st 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after first 5 minutes of rinsing. If irritation persists, call a physician. SKIN CONTACT: Wash contact area with soap and water. Discard contaminated clothing and shoes or thoroughly clean before reuse. If irritation persists, call a physician. INHAL

12、ATION: If overcome by vapors, move the exposed person to fresh air. If breathing is labored, administer oxygen. If breathing has stopped, apply artificial respiration. Seek medical attention if breathing difficulties continue. INGESTION: If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, have

13、 person lean forward. Keep at rest. Give the person a glass of water or milk to drink and get immediate medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
