16、 risk.We should change this by establishing our own national paid parental leave program.Such a program would not be free，of course，but it would be affordable.Swedens leave program costs just 0.8% of its GDP，a small price to pay for a widespread benefit for families.This is not a selfish proposal；I do not have any children and would be unlikely to benefit directly from any of this.Parenting is not a universal
