There is no “Default“ password. NOTE - If this is a new install the initial Username/Passw
2、ord is admin/admin. Resolution/Workaround All p-Class GbE2 switches have the same backdoor password. This password (listed below) ONLY works from the local serial port on the switch. This means the customer must have physical access to the switch. This process cannot be used via Telnet or the Web In
3、terface. The password is used to reset the Administrator password so they can login as the administrator. The password is 2wGDEp|B (there is no username in this circumstance) ATTENTION: This process is ONLY for the p-Class GbE2 switch. This process is NOT for password recovery on the Integrated Admi
4、nistrator on the e-Class and is NOT the process for the e-Class or p-Class GbE switches http:/ Customer Forgot Password to Log into BL p-Class or e-Class GbE switch. Problem Description Customer has misplaced the administrator password for the BL p-Class or e-Class interconnect switch and cannot log
5、 in to administer the switch. Symptoms Cannot log in Cause Forgot Password Resolution/Workaround We can generate a backdoor password based on the MAC address of the switch. Get the MAC address from the customer and send it up to ISS Sustaining Support via the server escalation team. You may also dir
6、ectly email requests to the distribution list entitled NSP Consult (in the Global Address List (GAL). The first person available will respond. HOW TO USE THE BACKDOOR PASSWORD: Reboot the switch and enter the backdoor password (with a blank username) within 60 secs. ATTENTION: This process is ONLY for the p-Class GbE and e-Class GbE switches. This process is NOT for password recovery on the Integrated Administrator on the e-Class and is NOT the process for the p-Class GbE2 switch (see iQ article iQ-19881)
