2、condition and/or specific diseases and disorders and which are presented as such. The composition of these foodstuffs must differ significantly from the composition of ordinary foods of comparable nature, if such ordinary food exist.美 国 Food for special dietary usesSpecial dietary uses, as applied t
3、o food for man, means particular(as distinguished from general) uses of food, as follow: (I) uses for applying particular dietary needs which exist by reason of a physical, physiological ,pathological or other condition, including but not limited to the conditions of diseases，convalescence, pregnanc
4、y, lactation, allergic hypersensitivity to food，underweight, and overweight; (ii) Uses for supplementing or fortifying the ordinary or usual diet with any vitamin, mineral, or other dietary property. Any such particular uses of a food is special dietary use, regardless or whether such food also purp
