2、业内人士指出，中国快速增长的消费市场和经济型酒店自身扩张的需求，是经济型酒店竞相选择上市的主要原因。本文将分析经济型酒店的现状与为来的创新发展。关键词 经济型酒店；商务；旅游；品牌连锁经济型酒店的现状分析与创新发展http:/- 3 -前言如家快捷酒店(NASDAQ：HMIN)在美国纳斯达克交易所开始交易，开盘价为 22 美元，高出发行价 13.8 美元 59.4%。如家快捷酒店本次上市约融资 1.02亿美元。现在越来越的商务交流与自助游，加上北京奥运的成功举办，未来中国的酒店业，特别是经济型酒店，将会有很好的发展前景。以下本文将从经济型酒的起源说起，并对经济型酒店的未来发展进行展望。一、经济
3、型酒店的定义及其特征（一）经济型酒店的定义学术界对经济型酒店没有形成一个公认的定义，国外对经济型酒店的划分主要以价格为标准，例如 Powers（1995）认为，经济型酒店是指不提供全面服务（full service）的，房价在 19911993 年期间维持在 33 美元以下的酒店。根据经济型酒店的特点，和中国的实际情况，笔者认为，经济型酒店的定义可以总结为：“以大众旅行者和中小商务者为主要服务对象，以客房为唯一或核心产品，价格低廉（一般在 300 元人民币以下） ，服务标准，环境舒适，硬件上乘，性价比高的现代酒店业态。 ”（二）经济型酒店的基本特征经济型酒店作为一种新兴业态，是经济发展和社会生
