Please take the chair to Jims room. 二、直接引语与间接引语1.含义：直接引述别人的话，叫直接引语，一般前后加引号。用自己的话转述别人的话，叫间接引语，一般不用引号。2.直接引语是陈述句，变间接引语应注意： 用 that 引导，可省略；人称，时态的变化。3.直接引语变间接引语：【总结 1】直接引语如果是陈述句，变间接引语时，用 that 引导（口语中常省2略） 。She said to me,“I like it v

6、去推，也就是一般现在时变为一般过去时，现在进行时变 为过去进行时等。【总结 4】一般疑问句由直接引语变为间接引语时， 由 whether 或 if 引导。如：“Can you tell me the way to the hospital?” The old man asked. The old man asked whether I could tell him the way to the hospital. 那个老人问我是否能告诉他去医院的路。(2)特殊疑问句由直接引语变为间接引语时，仍由原来的疑问词引导。如：“Which room do you live in?”He asked. H
