4、Look at the picture for unit 3.What is happening in this picture? Step 2. Lead in.(引入) 1.Introduce the unit topic: Families get together to celebrate. When there is a big festi val in China, the family members always get together to celebrate. Then whats the fe stival in October in China? What festi
5、val do you know except Mid- Autumn Festival? Help the students to respond in an appropriate way. 2. Remind the students that in the previous book Li Ming and his family celebrated th e Chinese New Year in China and Jenny and her family celebrated Christmas in Cana da. 3. What do you know about the W
6、estern festivals? What festival is coming soon in Ca nada? If someone knows what it is, ask him to describe it. Step 3. New lesson.(新课) No. 1 prepare lessons before class.1.Greet the students in English and make sure they can response correctly.Do the duty report: a student on duty can say whatever
