对许渊冲和翁显良唐诗《江雪》英译本的比较分析Comparative Analysis on Xu Yuanchong’s and Weng Xianliang’s English Translation Versions of Tang Dynasty’s Poetry Fishing in SnowAbstractThe production of Chinese classic poetry is a kind of art, which contains the beauty of artistic conception, temperament and form. When the Chinese classic poetry is translated into English, the beauty of the poetry is not only to be reserved, but also to be embodied. In terms of the English translation of Chinese classic poetry, the reappearance of the “three beauties” is especially a difficult work, and there are, however, still a lot of valuable English versions of Chinese classic poetry. This paper displays some excellent English versions of Chinese classic poetry by famous translators, and expounds how the “three beauties” are embodied in English translation through deep analysis. Xu Yuanchong is an outstanding translator in Chinese present age , he translated massive Chinese ancient poetry in English and French , which disseminate the Chinese culture, and also enhance the Chinese literature in the world literature status. Besides the countless translation great accomplishment, Mr. Xu also theoretically concentrate on exploring the translation theory 。

Through summarize predecessor's work ,such as Yan Fu, Lu Xun and so on ,and also his own translation experience elaboration, he advanced a set of completely translation theory. This article plans to analysis Xu Yuanchong’s translation theory to make the full detail by the comparision of two kinds of tanslation versions of Tang Dynasty ,and the two examples explained that Xu the theory translates in Chinese classical poetry is more acceptable to readers ,especially the native readers. For that compared to Chinese , the British image expression is presently straight forwarder clearly, the image grammar relations logic is stronger. Because the poetry translation has the extremely rich literary style characteristic and the artistic connotation. With the most succinct language to performance the humanity richest emotion and the most complex image in society, this kind of emotion and the image then constituted the poetry unique culture ideal condition. In the poetry ideal condition usually is a nationality unique, is representing this nationality's unique spiritual outlook. Therefore, the poetry translation while emphasizes sound,for m, and the most importantly transmits is its sense ,which namely is the poetry’s cultural ideal condition. This paper attempts to discuss Xu Yuanchong’s and Wen Xianliang’s English translation version of Tang Dynasty’s poetry Fishing in Snow from the aspect of sound、form and sense by meticulously selecting many fresh examples. The author puts forward versification translation and non-versified translation. It concludes that the translated versions are more acceptable for the readers’, especially the English natives’, if the translated versions are translated based on versification translation. The research is of great significance to Chinese classic poetry translation especially to Tang Dynasty poetry.Key Words: Xu Yuanchong, Wen Xianliang, Fishing in Snow, Poetry translation内 容 摘 要中国古典诗词的创作是一门艺术,是意境美、音韵美和形式美的和谐统一。

这些美感在其英译中不但不能丧失,而且还要尽量体现翻译难,译文学作品尤难,译诗更是难上加难对中国古典诗词的英译,尤其是在再现原文“三美”这方面,其困境早已是译界的共识,尽管如此,译界依然不乏具有研究价值的古典诗词英译的上乘作品本文就精选一些出自大家手笔的中国古典诗词的译作,并联系一些理论,从多个角度分析原作的意美、音美、形美是如何在其英译中体现的而许渊冲作为中国当代杰出的翻译家,用英语和法语翻译了大量的中国古诗词,为传播中国文化、提高中国文学在世界文学上的地位做了许多开创性工作除了翻译实践上的累累硕果之外,许先生还在翻译理论上潜心探索,通过总结自己的翻译经验和严复、鲁迅等前人的论述,提出了一套比较完整的翻译理论这篇文章主要通过对分析许渊冲和翁显良对中国古代唐诗《江雪》的翻译比较,我们可以发现许渊冲的韵体译诗更易与读者接受,尤其是对于源语言国家因为相对于汉语而言,英语的意向表达更直接,语法联系的逻辑性更强由于诗歌翻译具有非常典型的文化和艺术性的内涵,用最简洁的语言人类表现最富有的人类情感和最最复杂的社会意象,这种情感和意象然后构成了诗歌独特的文化理想内涵 而且诗歌往往具有典型和独特的民族特色,代表这个国家独有的精神风貌。

所以,诗歌翻译当中最重要时强调声音,形式,和感觉的传送,这即是诗歌的文化理想的情况本文根据许渊冲和翁显良的诗歌翻译理论从音韵、形式和意境方面试图论述两者在翻译唐诗《江雪》方面的情况作者提出了韵体译诗和无韵体译诗,得出韵体译诗比无韵体译诗更易接受本研究对中国古诗尤其是唐诗具有重大意义关键词:许渊冲;翁显良;江雪;诗歌翻译ContentsIntroduction ............................................................................................................................11.
