2、signed to provide students with an overview of urban management theories and practice and their applications in China. Teaching Philosophy and Approach This course will be conducted with a combination of lecture, discussion and group project. Interactive learning is strongly encouraged for students

3、to develop an overall understanding and critical thinking of urban management issues. Classroom Rules All students are expected to attend class and contribute to discussions having completed the assigned readings. Students participation in class discussion will be graded. Make-up exams will only be

4、available for students who had family or medical emergencies. Other usual university rules apply. Course Assessment 1. Class attendance and participation 20% 2. Group project 30% 3.
