1、人教版（新目标）初中英语形容词与副词的比较级与最高级（一）规则变化：1绝大多数的单音节和少数双音节词，加词尾-er ，-esttalltallertallest 2以不发音的 e 结尾的单音节词和少数以-le 结尾的双音节词只加-r ，-stnicenicernicest , ableablerablest 3以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节词或少数双音节词，双写结尾的辅音字母，再加-er，-estbigbiggerbiggest 4以辅音字母加 y 结尾的双音节词，改 y 为 i 再加-er，-esteasyeasiereasiest 5少数以-er ，-ow 结尾的双音节词末尾加-er，-e

Nobody is taller than him.比较对象相同时，可用 that, those 等代词代替第二个比较对象The weather in Shanghai is better than that in Wuhan.比较级
6、+ than 与 not so/as + adj./adv. +as 的相互转换Maria is not so / as brave as Helen. = Helen is braver than Maria.Nothing is so easy as this. = Nothing is easier than this. = This is the easiest thing.3 “比较级 + and + 比较级”表示“越来越” （加 more 构成比较形式的，只重复 more，不重复原形容词或副词 colder and colder , more and more beautiful
7、4 “the +比较级（） ，the +比较级（） ”表示“越，越”The earlier you start, the sooner you will be back. 5降级比较用“the + 原级形容词或副词（不论是单音节还是多音节的）+ than 从句 ”Today is less cold than yesterday.6一些特殊比较词组：no more than 不过，仅仅；同 一样不能 not more than 至多，不超过no less than 多达，有之多（加数字） （强调数量之多，带有感情色彩） ；一样，不亚于，恰好not less than 不少于（加数字） （无强调
8、多少之意）7the + 最高级 + 比较范围（in 表示环境范围；of 或 among 表示对象范围）He is the tallest of / among the boys.He is the tallest in his class.最高级前不加 the 情况：作表语的形容词最高级前，如果不是和别人（或别物）相比，常不加 theWe are busiest on Monday.形容词最高级前有物主代词时，不再加 theWang Hai is my best friend.最高级形式有时并不表示最高级概念，它只表示非常或“在很大程度上” ，这时前边一般不加 theIts a most im
