1、 “清江 论坛 ”第二届同步 辐 射技 术 及其 应 用学 术讲 座通 知同步辐射光源能同时产生从红外、可见光、紫外,到软 X 射线、硬 X 射线的同步辐射光,具有波长范围宽、高强度、高亮度、高准直性、高偏振与准相干性、可准确计算、高稳定性等一系列比其他人工光源更优异的特性,在科学界和工业界有着广泛的应用价值,可以进行许多前沿学科的探索。为推动同步辐射技术进步及应用, 2014 年 6 月 3-6 日,我校举办了“清江论坛”同步辐射技术及其应用国际学术活动周。此次学术活动周主要介绍同步辐射光源技术以及多学科应用和实验方法发展情况,总结了近年来国内外同步辐射光源技术创新以及仪器发展的实践经验和最

2、新理论研究成果,使我校师生对同步辐射技术及其应用有了初步认识和理解。为进一步提高我校老师和研究生对“同步辐射技术及其应用”的深入理解,以便在今后的学习、工作中更好地应用先进的同步辐射技术开展高端研究,提高科学研究水平,提升学术论文层次,现邀请加拿大同步辐射国家实验室相关专家(授课专家简历见附件)拟在 6 月 11 日-15 日期间为我校师生开展为期 5 天共计 16 学时的学术讲座,具体安排如下:上课时间 课程内容 主讲老师6 月 11 日晚上19:00-22:00同步辐射的介绍(2 学时) ;电子结构和分子光谱导论(2 学时)Yongfeng Hu6 月 12 日晚上19:00-22:00同

9、ry and physics, material and environmental science, and synchrotron instrumentation.Dr. Hui Wang is an associate professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering of the University of Saskatchewan. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Taiyuan University of Technology and Ph.D. from

10、University of Alberta. With experience working in industry, universities in China, Australia and Canada, and a US national laboratory, Dr. Wangs expertise covers heterogeneous catalysis, separation engineering, chemical reaction engineering, and synchrotron X-ray absorption spectroscopy studies in c

11、atalysis. He has been involved in the projects of developing carbonyl sulfide hydrolysis catalyst, H2S scavenger and sulfur removal technology. The method he and his co-workers developed to make CO2 reforming of CH4 catalyst, which allows long-term stable operation by minimizing the carbon formation

12、 side reaction, has been awarded a US patent. Dr. Wang and his group are also investigating hydrogen production from splitting H2S, mercury capture using cheap adsorbents, and catalytic combustion efficiency. Dr. Wang has authored and co-authored over 100 publications including journal papers, book

13、chapters, invited and keynote lectures, conference papers and presentations, and research reports.
