Its . is than .句型对人的外貌及性格特征作对比。Pedro is funnier than Paul.Tina is taller than Tara.Tom is more athletic than Sam.2. 能力目标：（1）掌握有关人物外貌和个性特征的单词以及学会人物比较的重要句型。（2）练习用比较级描述人和物。3.情感目标：通过观察分析，讨论人与人之间的不同点和相同点，从而培养学生的观察能力、分析能力和判断能力。三、教学重难点：教学重点是学生能够对人物外貌进行描述，个性进行比较。教学难点是形容词比较级的规则变化和不规则变化，形容词比较级的用法。

8、只有一个辅音字母，应先双写这个辅音字母再加-er.big thin fat hot4.以“辅音字母+y ”结尾的形容词，先改“y”为“i”，再加-er。heavy happy early funny 5.多音节和部分双音节形容词在其前面加 more。outgoing interesting beautiful athletic（2）不规则变化:good / well better bad / badly worse many / much more little less far farther / further oldolder/elder2.形容词比较级的用法1)比较级表示两者 (人或事
9、物 ) 的比较。表示二者比较时，常用连词 than 连接。句型结构：A+be+adj.（比较级）+than+B.eg. I am taller than Tom. My dress is more beautiful than hers.用比较级进行比较时，前后用以对比的必须是 同类事物。e.g. My hair is longer than hers. 2)在形容词比较级前还可用 much, even, still, a little， far，a lot 等来修饰比较的程度, 表示“的多”, “甚至”, “更”, “一点”。e.g. This city is much more beaut
10、iful than before. Shes a little more outgoing than me.
