When you reach for it, its never too far , its never too long” Accompanied by this cheerful music, the movie began in our eyes. Let me tell you the summary of this movie. This is a movie about
3、a top student on physics regardless of her moms against and hold on herself to make her dream come true. At the beginning of this term, the actress named Kathy became a candidate for a scholarship. But she must make a individual and creative subject. After a long time to think, she had no idea at al
4、l. One day she accompanied with her friend watch a TV show about ice-skating, Kathy drawn her inspiration from it. Then she went to a ice-skating club to observe the professional players movement and took some pictures. Yet the catch didnt think so. She made misconstrue with her. After confirmed her
5、 identity, she was allowed to stay there to do research. Not only in terms of theory, but also unite theory with practice. In the process of practice, the boy of the coach had crush on her. Of course, it just was an episode. However, her mom didnt encourage her to skate. She only wants her daughter
6、to gain achievement not in skating but in studies. In order to get more knowledge about ice-skating, she asked the coach to teach her. Therefore, she got a part-time job opposite the club. On the one hand, she can earn money to pay for the tuition. On the other hand, she could get more opportunities
7、 to do her subject. After hardworking, she got the chance to a inform competition. Due to the coachs selfish, she failed in the end. Faced this trap, she nearly decide to give up. Finally, she insisted on thanks to her interest. She forgave her coach and invited her to do personal coach. Then she tr
8、ained harder than before. Spent a lot of time on skating, she was lagged behind in her studies. At the same time, she gave up the opportunity to go Harvard University. Her mom was too angry and slighted until the important ice-skating competition. Surrounded with mom and friends encouragement, becau
9、se of her talent and pains, at last she won second place.To some degree, there is no doubt that is a comedy. What touches me so deeply is not only the miserable story, but also Kathys eternal dreamsthe dream of ice-skating, the dream of building up her own stage where all people around her can recei
10、ve her mind and let her be leading role in the life. She proved herself for everyone by her own ability. Especially when she bestir herself after she failed. Recently I read The Old Man and the Sea. It is said in this novel “But man is not made for defeat. A man can be destroyed but not defeated.” A
11、fter watched the movie, this sentence come across my mind. To a certain extend, Kathy is same to the old man. They both carried a tenacious struggle against the dilemma. Again has a look at us, we are always complaining incessantly when meet troubles in our daily life. How fragile we are! As far as
12、my concerned, we should learn from the actress in some extent. To begin with, we should never give up when we face with the fear and dangerous. Secondly, we should know that it is the road long difficult and full of ups and downs. But as long as we have a brave heart to challenges, we will always be
13、 a real winner. Last but not least, when we made a decision to overcome and try our best to do it. Though there is such a long distance between the reality and the dreams thatcant come true at all. The distance brings money, sham and politics what makes us feel disappointed. Maybe the dream was brok
14、en, and the love was weak. If we put our mind on it and continue, we will win at last. Just as the words of the song said “When ever you do, you will never be wrong. As long as you reach for it, you can dream on it. Its never to far” Whats more, be strong enough, be confident enough, be friendly enough and wont settle for a compromise just to get by. Try to make your life better. Find a rainbow and live your world of dreams. Always remember life is than it seems.
