1、1Travel Plan“When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life,” claimed the great lexicographer Samuel Johnson, and were inclined to agree. We think only few world cities can compete with the English capital for variety vitality and pace, so we have chosen London as honeymoon tourist destination.
2、My husband and I would love to spend the best time of our life in London and make London as our loves witness.From the introduction of many guidebooks, we understand that we could spend a lifetime in London but still not see all the city has to offer. Fortunately, most of the major sights are cluste
3、red together in a central nucleus between the City the South Bank, Westminster and Marylebone. Furthermore, London transport system is quite developed and Tube can easily take us to most of famous tourist attractions. Considering the situation above, we are going to use Tube Map to design our touris
4、m routes and visit historic spots in London. Below is the detailed travel plan that we are going to use when we are in London.23rd OctoberArrive at Heathrow Terminals. Go to London Underground Station, get a Tub Map and then buy Zones 1 - 6 adult 7 Day Travelcard. Take Piccadilly line to the hotel.
5、Eat dinner in a restaurant 2near the hotel and then potter around hotel. 24th October *St Pauls Cathedral; * Tate Modern Art Gallery;* London EyeTake Center Line and get off at St. Pauls station. Visit St Pauls Cathedral, the building that summed up the spirit of London in the morning and then walk
6、to Tate Modern to visit the worlds most popular modern art gallery in the afternoon.After visiting the gallery, work along the bank and go to Jubilee Gardens and then take a break. In the evening, buy a ticket of London Eye to see the night view of central London, from the Houses of Parliament and W
7、estminster to the distant towers of the City and the smokestacks of Battersea Power Station. 25th October * St. Jamess Park; * Buckingham Palace; * British MuseumTake District Line and get off at St. Jamess Park station. Walk to St. Jamess Park to enjoy the sunshine and see the lovely tame squirrels
8、 and pet pelicans. About 11:00 am, go to Buckingham Palace to wait and see Changing of the Guard. Walk back to Walk to Green Park to take 38 Bus towards Lower Clapton and take of at Museum Street to visit British Museum326th October *Hyde Park; *Kensington Palace; * Trafalgar Square;*Oxford StreetTa
9、ke Piccadilly Line and get off at Hyde Park Corner. Go through this royal park that named as “lungs of London” and walk to Kensington Gardens. Journey through Kensington Palace to enjoy this magical experience weaving contemporary fashion, performance, dreamlike installations and tales of the palace
10、s princesses. After that, take 9 Bus towards Soho and get off at Trafalgar Square to see pigeon and then visit National Gallery if have enough time. In the evening, take Bakerloo Line at Charing Cross station and take off at Oxford Circus to enjoy shopping.427th October * Westminster Parliament; * W
11、estminster AbbeyTake District Line and get off at Westminster. Visit Westminster Parliament to see, Westminster Hall, St Stephens Hell, the House of Commons and House of Lords. By tour guides assistance, learn something about how lows progress through Parliament.After that, visit Westminster Abbey,
12、the Britains finest medieval church-architecture buffs will note strong similarities with the great Gothic cathedrals of Pairs and Reims. At Westminster Abbey station, take 24 Bus towards Hampstead, and get off at China Town. Find a China Youth Travel Agency and buy one-day sightseeing tour ticket f
13、or visiting University of Oxford. After that, enjoy dinner at China Town.28th October * University of Oxford; * Westfield London Shopping CenterFollow traveling group to visit University of Oxford. After backing to London, take Central Line and get off at Shepherds Bush. Go to Westfield London to ea
14、t dinner and shopping.529th October * London Dungeon; * Tower of London; *Tower BridgeTake Jubilee Line and get off at London Bridge. Visit the London Dungeon to enjoy scary rides & terrifying live shows. At London Bridge Borough High St, take 40 Bus towards City of London. Get off at Rood Lane and
15、then walk to the Tower of London. Visit this castle and learn the story about how Tower of London changed from a palace to a prison. Visit the Crown Jewel, the most ostentatious collection of baubles in existence or the gruesome armory of medieval weapons in the White Tower. After that, go to Tower
16、Bridge to enjoy the scenery of the Thames river.In the evening, go to Tower Bridge Police station, take 47 Bus towards Shoreditch. Get off at Liverpool Street and then take Central Line to Notting Hill Gate. Eat dinner in Notting Hill and then find a bar nearby to enjoy the nightlife in London.30th October *Royal Observatory; *Old Royal Naval College *Greenwich Market Buy anytime Day Travelcard for zone 1-4 and then take DLR and get off at Cutty Sark. Go to Old
