5、past10years,thenationalEnglisheakingpetitionhasgivencontestantsachancetoeakonavarietyoftopicscloselyrelatedtotheirlives.Chinesestudentsbeemoreopen-mindedandreceivevariousideasandthinkingoverthedecade.Diversitybeesmoreobviousoncampus,studentshavemoreoortunitiestoexpreandshowthemselves.Itsnotaneasytas
6、kforthecontestantstowinthroughthefiercepetition.Owningtotheirpaion,hardworkandpersistence,theyfinallysucceededinthecontest. LiuXin,thefirstchampionofthenationalcontest,isnowananchorpersonofCCTV-9.Recallingthepaionofstudyoncampus,shesaid:“Whenyouwanttoexpreyourideabyaforeignlanguagewithoutfindingarightway,yourereallyuet.Thenyouhavetoencourageyourself,andafteralongtermofbitterne,suddenlyyoufindyougettherightwaywithjoy.”Withthechampiontitlein21stCenturyCup,LiuattendedtheInternationalPubliceakingpetitioninLondoninMay1996afterwardandgotthefirstprizehistorically. 1 2 下一页
