Due to the fact that each people has the similar or dissimilarmode of thinking in relation to other ones, the metaphorical language used by this people must be fully saturatedwith cultural connotations peculiar to it. So under the influence of culture, the translatio
9、n of metaphors becomes themost important and difficult problem . This thesis attempts to probe into the translation of metaphor on the base ofintroducing the definition of metaphor and the difficulties and importance of its translation in hope that it will dosomething good for the study on the cultu
