1、Module 9 Life historyUnit 3 Language in use (2)教学设计一、教学目标1. 掌握as well as,worth doing.的用法2. 能熟练掌握一般过去时中不规则动词的肯定句、否定句和疑问句式,并能灵活运用一般过去时。3. 能运用一般过去时描述过去的经历。4. 培养学生对文学家的崇敬之情和对文学的兴趣。二、教学重难点重点:初步尝试用一般过去时的特殊疑问结构,询问自己身边的亲人过去的生活,并用一般过去时对事件或者人物进行描述和介绍。难点:1. 能够结合一般过去时对事件或者人物进行描述和介绍;2. 熟练掌握一些动词过去式的不规则变化。三、教学准备1.

2、 多媒体设备和课件;2. 教学光盘。四、教学步骤Step 1 Warming-upRetell1. Show some facts about William Shakespeare and ask Ss to retell the life of William Shakespeare.Ask and answerAsk and answer the questions about these facts in pairs.e.g.S1: Did Shakespeare finish school in 1974? S2: No, he didnt. He finished school i

Explain some language points.(1) as well as other plays.as well as意为“也,还有,而且”,常用来连接两个并列的成分,但是强调的重点在前面,所以如果as well as连接两个并列主语,谓语动词在人称和数上与前一主语保持一致。 如:Tom, as well as Mike and John, goes to school by bike.除了迈克和约翰外,汤姆也乘公交车去上学。(2) Strat

5、ford is a historic town and well worth visiting for a taste of Old England.worth此处作动词,意为“值得的”。worth后面可以接名词、数词、动词-ing形式作宾语。be worth doing sth.意为“值得做某事”。如:The bike is worth $100. 这辆自行车值100美元。 The book is well worth reading. 这本书很值得一读。设计意图:通过介绍斯特拉特福小镇的这篇小文章,让学生对莎士比亚有更深入的了解。Cultural backgroundIntroduce t
