You look pale.pale adj. “苍白的，灰白的 ”，指人时形容面容缺乏健康或自然的气色，指物时表示色彩暗淡，缺乏光泽。 While the lights were changing to red, a car suddenly appeared round the corner.appear vi. 意为“出现，显露”，其反义词为“disappear 消失”。round the corner 在拐角
9、处附近 The driver was talking on his mobile phone.on此处用作介词，意为“通过，使用，借助于”。常用短语：on the phone, on TV, on the Internet。 The car stopped just in time, but the boy fell off his bike and hurt his knee.in time 及时；just 强调“刚刚，正好”。fall off 从跌落；从落下。fell是fall 的过去式 Pay attention, stop at the red lights and what else
