1、Module 1 Feelings and impressionsUnit 3 Language in use-2教学设计一、教学目标1. 复习巩固本模块的重点词汇。2. 了解西方人在情感表达方面的特点。3. 能够运用对话和阅读中学到的语言描述班上的同学。4. 能阅读关于介绍西方人在情感表达方面的特点并能完成相应题目。5. 能够关于个人爱好和感受对一个人进行简单的描写。6. 能够学会如何和陌生人交流。二、教学重点及难点重点:1. 复习巩固本模块的重点词汇。2. 了解西方人在情感表达方面的特点。难点:运用所学知识描述自己的同学,包括外貌、性格、情感等。三、教学准备1. 多媒体设备和课件。2. 教

2、学光盘。四、教学过程Step 1 Warming-up1. Look and say.(1) Ask Ss to work in groups, look at the pictures and try to describe them using what they have learnt in this module. (2) Select some groups to show their descriptions.2. Match the descriptions with the pictures.(1) Ask Ss to read the descriptions individ

3、ually and match them with the pictures.(2) Check the answers with the whole class.【设计意图】小组合作观察图片,并尝试用所学的描述方法对图片中的人物进行描述。通过此活动复习巩固如何对一个人进行描述。Step 2 PracticeActivity 61. Ask Ss to read the text and tell if Chinese people are similar or not.2. Ask them to tell what the differences are.3. Have Ss read t

Ask Ss to read the adjectives and use them to write about things individually.2. Elicit two or three examples from Ss and write them on the blackboard.3. Have Ss compare sentences

9、ut one of your classmates. (1) Tell Ss they are going to write a description of one of their classmates, but they must keep the name of the person as a secret.(2) Ask them to choose someone to write about and take notes under the headings given. Tell them they need only write single words, such as a

10、djectives or hobbies, at this stage.2. Write a description of him / her.(1) Tell Ss to organize their notes in the following order: age, physical description, hobbies. (2) Have Ss write a first draft of their description using their notes to help.(3) Tell Ss to check the correct forms of words that

11、they have used and then to write a final copy of their description.3. Work in groups. Share your description with your classmates. Let them guess who he / she is.(1) Put Ss in groups of four or five and ask them to share their descriptions with their group members.(2) Each S takes and reads one of t

12、heir partners descriptions and, silently, guesses which classmate is being described.(3) Ask Ss to repeat the previous step, reading each of the descriptions in the group, one by one.(4) When they have all read their partners descriptions, they compare their guesses and discuss.【设计意图】让学生小组合作描述自己的同学,
