Before class, lets watch the video firstly, and tell me why people want to move to cities
4、?S1: They want to find jobs.S2: Earn more money.T: OK, well done. Today we will learn a new unit.【设计意图】通过图片，引出学生对城市问题的思考，并作为这堂课的热身。Step 2 Pre-reading1. Learn the new words and expression.【设计意图】通过一起读课文学习新单词，之后学生一个接一个认读新单词，可以检查学生对单词的掌握情况，同时纠正学生的发音。2. Work on Activity 1.(1) Ask Ss to read the words in
5、the box.(2) Ask Ss to work in groups and answer the questions using the words in the box.(3) Ask some Ss to share their opinions in class.(4) Show the possible answers in class.【设计意图】本活动为读前预热部分，目的是激发学生已有的背景知识，增强学生的话题意识，使学生能够围绕主题发表自己的看法，为下一步阅读做好准备。Step 3 While-reading1.
