2、Ss have a test about theyve learnt in unit 1 and unit 2.【设计意图】教师通过语法小测验检查学生对情态动词must, can, neednt 和mustnt的掌握情况。Step 2 Presentation1. T lets Ss read then sentences in Language practice.2. Learn the usages of model verbs. 【设计意图】通过看句式，引导学生学习和记忆情态动词的用法。Step 3 Practice 1. Do some grammar exercises and ch
3、eck them together.2. T asks Ss to complete the conversations with can or cant.3. T asks Ss to complete the sentences with must or must not.4. 6、t is.【设计意图】通过游戏的形式进一步巩固本模块的单词和表达句型，这也是调动学生学习英语积极性的好方法。Step 4 SummaryGrammar: modal words (must, can, need的用法) 1. must表示“必须，一定要”，可用于肯定句、否定句和疑问句否定形式是must not (mustnt)表示“不能、禁止”的意思。2. can表示许可，可以，可用于肯定句、否定句及疑问句。否定形式是cannot(cant)表示不能，不可以，语气弱于mustnt.3. need做情态动词表示需要，可用于肯定句、否定句及疑问句。否定形式need not (neednt) 比较常用，表示不需要或不必要。Step 5 Homework1.
